sycamoreag
Was anyone able to catch the Soul/Voodoo AFL game on Sunday? Being in Atlanta, I had to watch the Force get steamrolled by NY. They did cut-aways to the Phil/NO game and from what I saw the two teams uniforms looked pretty sharp. I really think the Voodoo did a good job with their uniforms. I also was pretty impressed with the Soul's "Graphite" (wasn't that the official name for that paint chip?) color. On a side note, I only caught a quick glance of Philly's endzone art...it seemed as though the soul-note logo actually broke out of the endzone and into the field of play by about a yard or two....did anyone else see this? Discrim
yeah, caught a little...strangely, when NBC cut in and showed that little box telling you which team wore what, the soul were listed as wearing TEAL...wtf? how do you interpret a dark gray as TEAL??? ??? then again, there are still morons out there who think the carolina panthers wear teal when it's clearly light blue.anyways, back on topic, liked the soul's look, and i see M&N providing for both of the newbies. going to the most traditional uniform in AFL, the TB Storm, they've changed their pants to match the side stripe they added last year (probably to Fanatic's liking )...and that's probably for the best considering they are the rare gold-helmet team that cannot look good wearing gold pants (why, no clue. all i know is what i've said.) Brian in Boston
I was VERY impressed with the uniforms of both the VooDoo and the Soul. In fact, Philadelphia's uniforms impressed me even more than I thought that they would.Brian in Boston
thornadott
I was very impressed with several AFL uniforms this weekend. My favorite had to be the Tampa Storm. The colors just seemed to "fit". nitroseed
Graphite / gunmetal is actually my favorite color, so of course I'm partial to it. I think the Soul uniforms are very sharp and look great. I'm happy to see that the league is starting to take itself seriously and update everyone's looks so they don't look so minor league. sanq
I read somewhere that the Soul are selling authentic jerseys at Wachovia Center w/ BonJovi or Jaworski on the back for, get this, $450 a piece. Made by the official uniform makers, none other than Philly's own Mitchell and Ness.

DartLogo
The Soul sounds, and their logo looks, like a girl's team
hrivnak
Why is it so hard to find photos from Arena Football games? Almost none of the official team sites have anything. This is all I was able to find from the New Orleans-Philly game, from the VooDoo website:You'd think that these teams would actually have somebody snapping photos on the sideline... hell, at least have somebody out there with a digital camera. STL FANATIC
Discrim, I'm glad they made the side stripe line up, but I don't care for their unis. I don't even like their old ones (pre side stripe) that well, but I'm pretty sure I know why their gold pants didn't work. They needed a white stripe in the middle to match their helmet.
