luisart47
Let's clear some things up.Pumas is the nickname of UNAM University which is the biggest University in Latin America. The Soccer team is fully professional as someone stated already, and players aren't alumni. As opposed to the football team which is comprised of students. The Football League (ONEFA) is comprised of only universities, kind of like a college league only, there's no professional league. The reason why many teams are called "Borregos" or Rams (not Borrejos), is because the main private university's (ITESM) nick is Borregos, and many of their campii (plural of campus) are teams in the 1st division. So you'll see the Borregos from ITESM Monterrey against Borregos ITESM Mexico City play each other, but they are different teams. Viper
By the way, the PUMAS are from UNAM, the Ohio State of Mexico (Huge, think 200,000 students) in Mexico City. What do you mean, that they lose the championship game every year? More like 13.716 meters. America's pretty much the only nation that uses the ol' SI English units.Fixed that for ya. SI is not English, it's actually what you might call "Metric 2.0".
