Frenchie
Every morning on my way to work, I have to drive in front of a Sherwin Williams Paint store, and can't help wondering "WTF were they thinking???" with that logo?I mean, COVER THE EARTH (... in paint???)I know a lot have been written about it and the following link is the most recent "news" I could find about it.Blog Write-upAnyone else has any insight / opinion? @Frenchie_TO Owner of the Rochester Americans of the MLH Owner of the Toronto Frenchies of the GCFHL6
enigma4289
You are aware that the logo has been in use for over 100 years right. Logo design back in the early 1900's was very different than what it is today.
eRay
I have always loved that logo. It is a great tagline, and the logo illustrates it perfectly. That should never be changed.

oddball
I say screw the tree huggers! I was in a conversation with a printing rep of a large printer in Southern California and he said that he laughs at all the environmentalists who want recycled this and recycled that. It costs twice as much money to do it and when you recycle you use more chemicals, destroying the earth faster than if you just used paper. So in effect all these environmentalists are destroying what they want to protect, the earth! As far as the Sherman Williams logo goes, it's perfect. Let's not be like Pepsi and change your logo and slogan and look every year and a half. Leave perfection alone!
Arts11
maybe i haven't been that observant, but i've never noticed the "cover the earth" motto before. then again, the closest sherwin williams closed/moved a number of years ago
