NJTank
This announcing retirement as a player on one team or another is dumb, he was released his career ended in the preseason as a Patriot. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
Gothamite
I agree that the whole "retire as a ____" thing is pretty silly anyway, but this one doesn't make any sense.Retiring as a whatever involves signing a one-day contract. No player can be signed to more than one team at a time, so he can't simultaneously retire as a Bronco and a Buc. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog. It's kind of cool for somebody who greatly identifies with a single team, but was dumped off late in their career. But for a guy who voluntarily left, it's just plain disengenuous.
