2007 Stanley Cup Patch

Hey fellas:

Quick question (I'm sure Spyboy knows the answer).

I have two 2007 SCF patches, One big, one small. The large patch has the plastic backing and a National Emblem sticker, the small one does not.

Which is the correct one? Which one should I sew on my Ducks 2007 jersey?

Any explanation for the different sizes?

Interesting. If they were the same size, I would say they were both 100% correct.

The National Emblem ones are just meant for collector's purposes, and they don't encourage their use on jerseys. (I've ignored that in the past, and it's turned out just fine).

But the size difference... I dont know how to explain that.

Yeah I mean I think the NHL sticker is pretty good proof of legit-ness. And it seems like there's a ton of fake/knock-off patches floating around. Plus the left one just looks much higher quality and crisply sewn

Based on the photo, the one on the left is the correct one. You can tell by looking at the white outline, as the left patch is rounded like in the photo whereas the right-hand one is pointed.

The left one also has a "shaded" effect to the letters as in the photo, whereas the right-hand one is just a flat fill for "Stanley Cup."
