IslandersDynasty
I'm new to this board and maybe a thread of this nature already exists. On the New York Yankees page, why is the original tophat logo ommitted? The original tophat logo was created by Lon Keller, a famous sports artist, in 1947. It was modernized in the late 1970s to the logo we have today.http://www.lonkeller.com/Also, the logo you used to represent the Yankees cap logo is the "print logo." It is used on official documents and team marketing, not the cap. The cap logo more closely resembles this:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:NewYorkYankees_caplogo.svg

Gothamite
And just for the record (and to repeat my response on the other thread), I created that vector and it still needs some work. It's not the 1947 version yet, it's closer to one of the tweaked versions they used in the 1960s and 1970s before finally overhauling it into its present form.
