This is the actual goalie mask that goaltender Denis Lemieux wore for the first half of the 1977 cult classic movie - ?Slap Shot?. Yvon Barrette, the talented actor that played the grammatically challenged goaltender, has made this phenomenal keepsake available for auction. It has been in Barrette?s possession since the filming of the movie. The mask is definitely showing its age, as the paint is cracking throughout. There is a Jacques Plante Co. stamp on the back of the mask. This lot will come with a letter from Yvon Barrette detailing the authenticity of the item. Phenomenal piece.
