I put this together on GIMP. This is what I think that the hockey program should wear.

It's a great looking jersey, my only problem is that the logo on the front, and the numbers look to big. Maybe scale them down a little.

Most d1 hockey programs have one pair of pants, and two different pairs of socks. Also, I think the names on back could be a tad bigger.

Agreed. Names need to be bigger, numbers smaller. I would pick either the red or the blue pants, but not both. I would also make the blue helmet white for the white jersey, and use blue socks with the blue jersey. Nice start on this.

The concern I have with using blue pants and blue socks with the road jersey is having the player look like a smurf. You think maybe the white socks should be used with the blue jersey, and maybe blue socks with the white?

Use red pants all around, then match socks & helmet color to the jersey color. And of course downsize the number/logo and upsize the name a tad. It looks good so far

In addition to what's been covered, I would edit the way the shoulder yokes terminate. Maybe something a little more rounded?
