You don't need to know HTML or anything (it'd be a plus), you just need to be able to design within the technical limitations of the Web environment.The job would likely be a temp position for 9 months, followed by the possibility of a full-time job. It could also be a one-year renewable contract. That part is still up in the air and will depend on who's chosen for the job.My boss wants to fill the position immediately and is already trying to schedule an interview with someone this afternoon, so if there's anyone out there in the Lansing/East Lansing area (or looking to relocate there) who'd like to know more, send me a PM ASAP with a link to your portfolio (if you've got one online).
