Well, after 24 hours and 150+ views, I will take the bait.

Grammar/syntax aside, the Calder Trophy summary might be the worst one ever.

The rookie class of 2012 was one of the best in recent years in the NHL as there were a handful of rookies that could receive Rookie of the Year consideration. The Devils had a pair of rookies named Adam who helped the team again become cup contenders, while Oilers rookie Ryan Nugent-Hopkins finished tied with all rookies in scoring with 52 points. The winner should be Gabriel Landeskog of the Avalanche who tied Nugent-Hopkins with 52 points, while showing the ability to be a great two way forward who could some day get his name all over the Selke Trophy, while playing a key role in the Colorado penalty kill. Gabriel Landeskog finished second in goals and +/- among rookies and at 19 he showed veteran leadership as the Avalanche battled for a playoff spot until the end of the season.

This is the team you watch live most often, are part of the "handful" of worthy rookies and yet their last names are not known and are not worthy of a Google search?

Their last names are Henrique and Larsson.

You're making a big deal over such a little thing.... Most people will realize that he's talking about Larsson and Henrique... He's not ESPN, he's just doing this for fun, really. Chill out.

No crap, I actually look forward to reading Tanks' NHL Season preview, playoff preview and awards predictions.

Not even a mention of the rookie who finished 1st in goals for Calder? While it may be a deep race, there's really only 4 real contenders for the award, and one is named Matt Read.

Oh, and Adam Larsson? Um, no. Not a Calder contender.
