Greg_Fryman
I decided to rebrand my high school. School: Campbell County High SchoolCity,State: Alexandria, KentuckyMascot: CamelsEnrollment: 4,000+ (5A)My concerns are that it looks more like a female lion than a camel and I was wondering if I should add more detail. As always I am looking for suggestions on how to improve the design.
Raymie
Needs to have a full bodied secondary ? and a mouth that doesn't look so weird. Otherwise a nice start.
lancealot
That mouth needs changing an it looks like it could be pretty much any animal, needs something distinctive in there
Greg_Fryman
Made changes to the mouth, nose, and eyes but I believe it is still missing something.
GriffinM6
It looks much better. The thing I still don't like though, is the way the mouth curls at the front of the snout. Flatten that part out like in the purple silhouette on the camel.
Buster
The camel head looks good but you do need a full body. To some people, they won't know it's a camel unless they see the obvious hump(s).
Funkatron101
What kind of references are you using? It feels like you are trying to create an aggressive looking camel without really studying the features of camels, instead winging it with "well, I know camel heads have this basic shape."If that is the case, I strongly suggest looking at many, many pictures of camels. Ones with varying angles and poses. You might be able to find something that captures what you are trying to envoke, or inspire you to take a different approach, instead of simply humanizing a camel with angry features.I think this is a pretty interesting reference. It captures the camel in a strong and majestic way.http://fohn.net/camel-pictures-facts/the-pictures/Camel-Evening-1024x768.jpgThis one gives you a different angle to consider.http://www.davidsanger.com/images/emirates/8-730-374.camels.m.jpgOr perhaps embrace the fact that camels are kind of silly looking animals and go for a smiling camel.http://wonkette.com/politics/camel.jpgOr draw Pau Gasolhttp://cdn1.sbnation.com/imported_assets/482261/gasol-copa-oro.jpgI hope that doesn't come across as rude. I just happen to find the "make an angry cartoon animal" a little played out.
