nash61
I found this ticket in a library book. It's not from the 1987 Canada Cup, because that was played in September, and this ticket is from January. Anyone know? They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy. pmoehrin
I have no idea.I know the USSR and Canada were disqualified in the World Juniors on Jan. 4th, 1987, but that game was in Slovakia. The World Juniors would be in Hamilton in '86, but again not matching that date.
