BBTV Posted June 28, 2013 Share Posted June 28, 2013 Pretty sure Carter-Williams had no other choice, considering they need as much available fabric as possible to wrap his name around.Noel wore #3 in college, which isn't an option on the Sixers. We won't know for a while since the ridiculous NBA rules won't allow the trade to actually happen for a month or so, but I'd imagine he'd just put another 3 and be 33, which is the number that Andrew Bynum would have worn had he had even a little bit of heart. It'd be two years in a row that their biggest draw missed at least part of the year with a major knee issue and was supposed to wear 33.
