JPDesign
How about ModernaThat's a big improvement! The incorporation of the hand into the wordmark looks nice. Only thing I'd change would be to make the stem on the "a" in "Brandits" vertical.
keithisgood
Good good. Thanks for taking a look at this. Want to make sure we get it as right as we can before we start printing anything.A straightened a does look better, thanks. If the guys in the band like it, I think we're calling it done with this iteration. graphiccontent
the mark fits well, but so far have not been a fan of any of the typography. The closest you have come i think is maybe the script, but it still feels off. The Moderna is just far too much, especially with the extra hand motif.my suggestion would be to go simple on the type, maybe make it solid black instead the stroked type you have now. keep the focus on all the good work you have done on the mark.I've used cubano here as an example
keithisgood
Hm. Cubano font does look nice.
JPDesign
I could see using Cubano for the website tag, but I wouldn't replace what you've done.
keithisgood
I could see using Cubano for the website tag, but I wouldn't replace what you've done. That's precisely what I've done. Especially on a 3'x5' banner, the wordmark needs to be semi-garish and instantly recognizable, which i think our modified moderna mark does. Cubano fits nicely (and is much more legible than moderna) for the web address tag below.
