I think your new palette is too busy though. Might as well take out the blue completely, since those uniforms were mainly red, white, and black. The gold never felt as much a part of their identity to me, but it can still work if you keep it. It would be more legible on a small patch.White base, black outline around the circle, gold outer outline.Lettering and number = black. Stars = goldbasketball = red. Side things around the basketball = blue.Maybe the ball could be gold and the stars red, but I think the other way might be better.
