  1. Except that everything about it screams "fake." The jersey mesh, bubbly numbers, shoddy sleeve logo and super-tight neck. It's lasted 6 years. You put a replica through a fourth as many wash cycles and it's destroyed. And people wonder why anyone would buy fakes... I'd rather look good for a year and a half than cheap for six? This Why worry about ruining something in the wash if it looks like complete crap to begin with?
  2. Yes, because a Canucks fan can be trusted to be objective about the Blackhawks. Say something about how awful the Canucks jerseys are... I already took it back. Sorry. Damnit, you're no fun . Stay classy, for the record I don't hate the hawks, just those tan infused jerseys

  4. Maybe not the worst, but definitely among the most overrated. That wasn't vintage white on their old thirds/throwbacks. The uniforms they were based on really did use a tan colour. Yep. Vintage White or Tan, it was still ugly as sin.
  5. You do realize SOPA/PIPA doesn't actually prevent piracy, and instead allows corporations to shut down any website they want, whenever they want, however they want, for any reason they want, without due process, right? Opposing websites making and selling knockoff jerseys as the real thing doesn't mean you support corporations having the ability to censor the internet at their whim. This. SOPA is in direct opposition to the free market as the corporations behind the mainsteam news stations will be able to shut down the exploding alternative press. You know the people who report real news instead of some watered down corporate agenda...
  6. What is the right uniform for lupul? Since leaving the Ducks he's pretty much been a journeyman.
  7. I think the above is the best of the three, though I agree the top is the worst. Canada does not need black anywhere in it's scheme. Red, white and maybe a hint a gold is sufficient.
  8. This was very attractive contemporary design.
  9. Fixed. Im guessing this Lights Out fellow has very good taste in uniforms
  10. The above jersey was a true modern classic and the best the Sabres have looked in their 41 year history. the absence of Sabres on the front is irrelevant in my books because there are tons of so called "classic" logos that do not depict the teams namesake. The Canadiens do not feature a Canadien, The Islanders classic logo does not depict an Islander, etc.. Lastly the Sabres so called "classic" crest is the most overrated logo in the history of the NHL. To be frank, it's awful.
  11. If they were an Original Six team, they'd be okay (but still unspectacular). What drags the uniform down for people, including myself, is that a non-traditional franchise in Tampa Bay is playing Original Six Dress-up and borrowing heavily from the Maple Leafs and Red Wings to do so. Not to mention, in their rush to force in elements of a tradition they don't have, they eliminated the one defining aesthetic tradition they did have - the victory stripes. The above uniforms should have never been changed. When a team keeps the same relative look for it's first 12 seasons culminating in the ultimate prize, you don't just abruptly change it 3 seasons later. Clip art-ish wordmark or not.
  12. The Buffalo Sabres current Home and Away jerseys look almost as bad as the Slug set. The front numbers are complete overkill especially with the new helmet numbers and the piping to nowhere reminds me of the awful sabre blades (or whatever those reflective lines were supposed to be) running up the slug set. They also jumped on the Navy Blue bandwagon a decade too late.
  13. No it's not. Not even close. Please elaborate. As for the Coyotes current jerseys, they're not bad by any means but losing the hem stripes and titling the logo to nosebleed proportions really hurt the overall look. Also the shoulder yoke on the Road looks really out of place.
  14. Maybe it isn't such an unpopular opinion Cheesy primary aside, the Golden State Warriors definitely looked their best from 2002 to 2010. That shade of Orange made so much sense... Why they would depict the Golden Gate Bridge in yellow instead of it is beyond me.
  15. The Canucks current Identity is perfect... Orca, wordmark and all.
  16. From a purely aesthetic standpoint (ignoring things like history and championships) this was one of the best updates in the history of Pro Sports. The Islanders original look was unremarkable at best. This on the other hand was one of the most inventive and visually appealing jerseys to ever hit the ice.
  17. Personally, I don't care. Not one bit. If people want to waste $50 dollars on a poorly constructed rag with bubbly crests, my advice is for them to knock themselves out. These people will never know the joy of owning the real deal nor will they ever appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into them (yes, to me jerseys are a work of art). Their loss. Not quite. Smoking pot doesn't harm anyone (including the smoker) which is why making it illegal is hypocritical and backwards. Supporting counterfeit merchandise on the other hand harms the bottom line of the company's making the real deal. You know, the products these boards are centered around.
  18. The new Predators jerseys look atrocious, especially the white road where the useless piping is even more prominent and the hem stripes are not complete. They look almost as bad their previous jerseys.
  19. The Washington Capitals main set looks dated already and is in bad need of an update.
  20. The Florida Panther's double blue jersey is pefectly acceptable in my book... as an alternate.
  21. Wow I didn't know Minnesota was going with kelly green... how retro
  22. Agreed. Don't see what the big issue was with these.
  23. Cause detroit needs a phantom shoulder yoke. Look how modern it looks
