Didn't really understand the need to move Nashville around when this was obviously inevitable. STL in the West makes sense and their rivalry with KC will be the next one the league beats relentlessly I'm sure.

To be fair, Nashville started in the Western Conference their inaugural 2020 season. The pandemic forced the League to move them to the Eastern Conference for the rest of the 2020 and the 2021 seasons. The League moved  Nashville to the Western Conference for the 2022 season because of Charlotte FC entering the League, which would have created at 15/13 club imbalance.

Agreed, bring in a natural grass surface. But yeah even venues outside current MLS markets. Maybe get Atlanta to Birmingham, Orlando to Tampa, DC to Baltimore. Heck even get New England at Fenway would be interesting.

Fun fact, DCU is considering setting up an MLS Next Pro club in Baltimore in the coming years.

Sorry for wishing for a regional conference of like minded universities, aside from BYU playing the outcast villain role, instead of a dumb nation wide super conference.  Big 12 teams have no business being in the Pac-12 and Pac-12 teams have no business being in the Big 12, and of course Pac-12 teams should not be in the B1G.

Don't apologize for your vision. It looks entertaining to me, especially of what could have happened out West.

It's all going to depend on the seller. I've bought and sold dozens of items on Poshmark.

As a general rule, if they're using only stock photos (no photos of the actual jersey) then it's 99.9% going to be fake.

Good tip! Thanks for the info.

Loudoun has been one of the few "two" teams that actually draw fans. If they pull something similar to what Seattle did (rebrand from Seattle Sounders 2 to Tacoma Defiance) in having their own identity, I think they might be able to draw more and survive. Tacoma brought was one of the two teams that managed to bring in fans and have their own identity (at least until covid hit and the move to MLS Next Pro. As far as I know MLS Next Pro doesnt report attendance so Im not sure how they are doing now)

Here are the 2022 attendance figures (through August 1). Loudoun United drew a 2,076 crowd against LA Galaxy II  in Week 22 to bump up total attendance to 18,384 for the season. They are currently ranked 23rd out of 27 clubs in attendance.

Maybe this is a turning point or aberration in their season, but the club struggles to draw fans.

  6. Loudoun United has a nice stadium. It’s too bad it is located on the outskirts of Leesburg, making it a pain in the ass to travel to for a match. I believe the average attendance for this season is somewhere north of 1,000 per match out of  5,000 seats in the stadium.

Also, it doesn't help that the on-field product has been terrible since its inception. Honestly, it’s best that Loudoun United either becomes an independent club, rebrands, or folds rather than stay with DCU for another year.

Blues stave off elimination with a huge comeback in the third to clinch out Game 5 in OT and now get to head home with a massive momentum boost.

If they win this series, that Thomas goal is going to be the iconic moment of it and the Avs are going to have to deal with the branding of being the new Capitals with how damn often they choke in the second round.

To be fair, the Avs and Caps have both lost 6 series each in the Second Round or Semifinals since the 2001-2002 season.
