Losing Greenlaw is BAD news for the Niners. Hopefully they have something to adjust. Offense needs to do more, as well.
Crazy to see a team dominate a half like that, walk out with the lead, and it still feels disappointing. Chiefs have looked half asleep at times, but with them that rarely matters. Niners have to keep up the tempo and pressure if they want to pull this out.

Niners look pissed. That’s a bad sign for Kansas City. Chiefs are the best two minute and second half adjustment team in the league, though.

@Old School Fool thank you for getting us back on topic. I’ve always liked those old Rams yellow throwbacks you just posted. Great look.

Yeah, but that's ALL Oakland has going for it. At least the other cities have additional stuff to do in between car jackings and shoplifting flash mobs. Y'know, assuming you're out of the hospital or morgue in time to enjoy them.
Oakland has some real nasty parts, but it’s still just like any other major American city. I’ve been to Oakland like six times in the past year and it was fine. Fun, actually. Good food scene there if you know where to look, and just as much to do as any other city (probably more weed stores, though). Theres just certain parts of the city you know not to :censored: around in, especially after dark. That’s increasingly true now, but it’s always been the case with Oakland.
My dad is from St. Louis and grew up in the government housing projects in an area that was bad when he was young (1940s and 50s), and only got MUCH worse after he left. He took me to St. Louis once as a kid, and even being that young I knew not to ask to see his old neighborhood because you just kinda knew it wasn’t a great spot to be lingering around in.
Philly has Kensington, Chicago has parts of the south side, LA has East LA, etc. It doesn’t mean those cities are devoid of any value

Utah getting an MLB and NHL team in quick succession feels like it'd be too many for such a small market.
SLC getting even one of those teams is too much for that market. Both would be absolute lunacy.- 2

Yeah I know they were a thing, but they never looked good. The powder pants worked a lot better with the road set, and I think they wore all white occasionally (it might’ve only been early on) and it looked a lot better.

Titans former set was great when it only had the white pants and no baby blue jersey. Once they started throwing other colored pants into the variation, the whole thing got pretty stale pretty quickly.
They were definitely one of those teams that were hurt by the switch to Nike, so you kind of knew a change was coming for them eventually. Problem is, they absolutely faceplanted with the Nike set and still haven’t corrected it yet. They’re the worst looking team in the league right now.

Titans current set is a big downgrade from their original set, which wasn’t fantastic (but I still think very solid) itself.
I would love to see them change, because their current set sucks. But I’m afraid of what they may change to, because you can’t just assume it’s going to be any better than the current tire fire.

I’ve said for awhile now that the best solution to the A’s problem is to just fold the team. Not quite that, but…
Source: If A’s don’t find a home, they could disband until Las Vegas

Bellicheck to the Commanders feels like where this is gonna eventually land.

Yeah I really love the GOP going to bat for a team in their favorite American city… San Francisco, California.

The Niners being able to stage a comeback is a strange development, especially when they were so outclassed in the first half. The Lions could really have had them beat if not for being overly aggressive on 4th down and making some inopportune blunders of a more mundane nature.
This kind of feels like exactly the kind of game the Niners had to have. They don’t play from down often, and when they do it usually ends up bad. Doing this vs Detroit instead of trying to figure out how to stop the run on the fly vs Kansas City in the Super Bowl seems more deadly.
Chiefs kill people over the middle, and the Niners defend that better than anyone else in the league. I think the Niners come out like gangbusters and do to the Chiefs what the Bucs did in their first shot at going back to back.

Lions fans should take solace in the fact that when your team is competitive, they’re gonna do :censored: like this to you more often than not. Gut wrenching loss today, no doubt about it. But welcome to the club of being just as miserable as everyone else who doesn’t win it all. Hope you guys stay awhile.
Niners over Chiefs by 1000.

Oh no, little Lion men.
We got ourselves a game.

I feel like I’ve seen this same 49ers NFC Championship loss at least a hundred times.

Sigh. This is why I’m not a 49ers fan.

I don’t really see the Lions hanging with the Niners today, but I’m Ngl, I kinda think either of these NFC teams can beat Kansas City.

The more I see of Lamar in the spotlight, the more I start to understand why the Ravens were hesitant to sign him to big money long term.

Yeah I had a feeling Baltimore had some real fraud vibes to them coming into the playoffs. Thought they would catch it last round, but meh. Big wet slap of a turd either way.

It’s weird because this just feels like the same soulless corporate machine as we got last decade but in different uniforms. It’s the Gen Z version of continued misery. -

The Chiefs are the Patriots of this decade.
I’m really so excited to hear about how they overcame so much adversity when [checks notes] Their QB didn’t get every single call go his way and he got really mad about it. And when they had the off the field distraction of [checks notes again] their tight end deciding to date the most famous musician in the world. Gonna be so great to hear how they overcame all of that and came together as a team. America’s team, in fact.
It’s amazing how quickly they overtook the Pats on the annoying scale. Hokey ass Walmart Patriots.
