This helmet should be Missouri's helmet full time...the block M just works better with the classic stripes than the tiger logo.
I wish they had the same stripes on the pants as the helmet.

South Carolina’s garnet jerseys have been revealed. Not a fan of the striping.
Those are beautiful. I believe the Gamecocks have one of the best uniform sets in all of college football.

Mizzou looked good. White/Black/White.
And Iowa State. White/Red?/White.
Mizzou needs to decide if they are going to go with a traditional or modern uniform set. The helmet and pants worn was more traditional, but they wore their modern jersey with the pairing. The first two games were more of their modern look, but the LSU game looked more traditional. So I believe they need to standardize which pants template they want to go with in the future and roll with it. I hope they choose the traditional stripes and put them on their yellow and black pants.
Week 1: Modern jersey & pants
Week 2: Modern jersey and pants
Week 3: modern jersey, traditonal pants

Texas A&M finally released pictures of their new road uniform yesterday. As expected, the jersey is an inversed version of the home jersey. There are still no pictures of the maroon pants
Glad to the return of the white facemask.

Shameless plug as it is, but why couldn't Adidas and aTm do something like this:
-Add stripe to helmet to match pant stripe
-remove all traces of the bevels from helmet logos, numbers, pant logos.
Now there's some level of harmony between all parts of the uniforms (ignore the socks and cleats, that's a holdover from my 72 project).
Change the facemask to maroon or white and you have a great looking uniform.

You obviously aren't a Texan.
Dallas Cowboys - Star
Dallas Stars - yeah you get this one
Texas Rangers - yep a star (on and off as a primary in logo)
Houston Astros - Star
Texas is the Lone Star State... it gets tied into Everything... EVERYTHING.
Hence the Star.
Houston Texans - Star

Ugh, that logo is so wonky and has so many faults.
- The perspective is off--the logo looks like it's trying to be 3-D at the bottom but the top is completely flat.
- Speaking of the top, the part where the derrick meets the star just abruptly stops, making it look awkward.
- The red H is outlined in white, yet the red star is not.
- The outline on the H is too thin when compared to the rest of the lines on the logo, not to mention that the H simply existing within the logo skews the line weights of the derrick's frame and poles.
And try to convince me that the bottom half of the logo, just under the crossbar of the H, doesn't look like the face of an angry, block-headed, mustachioed man.
I agree....but I feel like people want the Houston Oilers logo back so bad that they will accept anything similar to it.

It actually does. I was thinking that last night. On top of the "hidden" 'STL', if you cut off the top of the logo where the curved lines of the wings meet straight lines, there's an arch right there in the middle.

A bit of a stretch but I see it
I love this logo turned upsidedown! It looks 1000x better.

I did a survey to see what people thought of the new logos and out of 128 responses, the people liked the Houston Roughnecks logo the most.

For me there are multiple reasons for each sport:
NFL - I grew up a die-hard fan of the Browns and when they left for Baltimore I was heart broken. So I did not have a true favorite team for a few years until I moved the New Hampshire in 2000 and started to follow the Patriots because I liked the last coach of the Browns, Bill Belichick and I have been a fan of theirs ever since.
NCAA - I my household you had a choice, you could pull for the Kentucky Wildcats or you live out in the doghouse (not seriously), but we were raised on Kentucky Basketball as my mother absolutely loved the team and would listen to Cawood Ledford on the radio during every game. My father was also a fan or Kentucky and his motto was simply, UK all the way, U of L can go to Hell.
NHL - After the Browns left Cleveland I started to watch hockey on occasion and I really like Peter Forsberg and Joe Sakic and immediately started to pull for the Colorado Avalanche. As I started to learn more about the sport, I started watching more of the Penguins because of Jagr and I became a fan of them as well.
NBA - I really hate the NBA game today, but I still pull for my favorite team growing up; The Boston Celtics as that was my father's favorite team.
MLB - Growing up in Kentucky, one would think that I am fan of the Cincinnati Reds and even though my favorite player (Pete Rose) played for them, I am not a huge fan. My favorite team is the Boston Red Sox because they are my father's favorite team.

Heres one: I don't like the use of the word "as" in almost every single post.^
Here is one, I don't care!
Seriously, I hate that the Wildcats are preseason #1 as that is a lot of pressure for our young team.

I absolutely loved Army's uniform this past weekend as I wish it was their primary look:

What is the "warning points" as I just noticed the "0" under my profile name today?

I still think the SEC will go after Virginia Tech & N.C. State plus the Big Ten wants to further expand it's eastern footprint not just with Penn State, Maryland & Rutgers but possibly Virginia & Georgia Tech as well. It won't be for awhile though. Big Ten would love to have that Atlanta market and the SEC would love to have a foothold in North Carolina and Virginia. This has to do with TV mostly. The Big Ten and SEC networks.
I don't see that happening for a few years, but I would LOVE to have Virginia Tech in the SEC. I am not interested in NC State, but I would prefer them over Duke, Wake of UNC,

Gray facemasks suck. That's a popular opinion.
Hold up, it depends on the team...Oakland, Dallas, New York Giants are good, the rest...not so much.
