The White helmets ARE changing, and the Gray face masks are also going away. 100%.

But from what I heard, it won't be much of a change from gray as they will be silver/chrome. Can you say that is accurate?

The Lamar Jackson era Louisville chrome domes were perfection

There has only been two chrome helmets in my opinion that have been perfection and they both come from the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

On the UK subject, If they would bring back for one game, the 82-89 UK uniforms, with the Power K helmet, i would buy that in a heartbeat. That is what a lot of us old UK fans would die for.

I know you'd love that! When I first seen the double stripe on the pants, I immediately thought about those uniforms.  To be honest, I am stoked the pants have stripes...I was scared if they ever changed they would've went plain.

I mostly agree with this, but there’s still just something about the Bucs red jerseys that feels off, and it annoys me. Something about the old set with the new logos, colors and template doesn’t work with the red jersey, and I can’t quite put my finger on what it is.

I love the red jersey and I believe you'd like it better if they actually wore it more. But it also could be the fact that Nike version is missing the sheen that the Reebok set had.

  5. I believe the Houston Roughnecks uniform was a slap in the face to the NFL. After the lawsuit over the Oil Rig logo in 2020, it's like the new league owners said okay, we won't look like the Oilers, but we will be more Texan than the Texans. Considering they are using the same colors as the Texans and what is more Texan than the Texas Flag? Nothing, that is why it is on the helmet. But to slap the NFL even more, they are using the old Houston Oilers colors on the Arlington Renegades away uniform. I don't care for the Houston or Arlington uniforms, but I think it is hilarious that they are making fun of the NFL in plain sight.

  6. We did a survey on my Facebook page as the community voted the Houston Roughnecks as the best logo for 2023. They also voted the Roughnecks #1 in 2020. Here were the results for this year, the closer to 10.00, the better the score:

    1. Houston Roughnecks 7.03
    2. St. Louis Battlehawks 6.97
    3. Arlington Renegades 6.22
    4. DC Defenders 6.10
    5. San Antonio Brahmas 6.03
    6. Seattle Sea Dragons 5.85
    7. Orlando Guardians 5.30
    8. Las Vegas Vipers  4.93

  7. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I like the Blue/Blue for the Bills. I just wish they wouldn't wear it so much, maybe 3 times a year tops. It is one of the better monochrome looks in the NFL thanks to the beautiful stripes on the jersey and pants. Now if it were solid blue like what the Saints (all-white & all-black) have without stripes it would be awful.

What I'd love to see them wear is Red/White, Blue/Over, or White/Red on the road. I played with those combination in Madden and love them. spacer.png

The numbers are already on the front and back of the jerseys, don't need to be right next to them. No need to turn your NFL jersey into a generic blue/red any team jersey. Especially when the numbers look blocky in that spot, while the shape of the Patriots logo happens to look sleek and motion-like there.

I've never understood the "the logo is already on the helmet" argument. The front/back numbers are literally closer, making the whole argument senseless. If anything, the numbers seem much more repetitive to me. Besides, when fans get a jersey, they don't wear a helmet with it.

To each their own! I prefer the numbers instead of logos and you disagree. That is the beauty of uniforms.

As far as logic, for years, the TV numbers made it easier for fans and broadcasters to identify the players when they're facing off at the line of scrimmage, or whenever they're not facing directly toward or away from the camera. I still agree today that TV numbers help me identify players on my TV and that is the primary reason I like them. I already know they are a Patriot player because I am watching the game, but I may not be able to see the player actually is if I can't see his number.

I personally much prefer the jerseys they went with. The numbers instead of logo makes the jersey feel more generic. Plus, the shape of the Patriots logo really looks good on the sleeves, a lot less blocky.

The logo is already on the helmets and doesn't need to be right below them. Besides that, TV numbers have been part of the NFL jersey for several years, but they've went away with some teams recently. That is trend that I hope ends soon.
