    you don't say? http://espn.go.com/nhl/story/_/id/15305904/nhl-commissioner-gary-bettman-says-league-strongly-discourages-fans-throw-anything-hats-ice i think other then hats (would say in Detroit where they throw octopus before the game is somewhat ok) i think, if the NHL wants to end this once and for all, they say, if anything other then hats, the home team forfeits the game. that would end that quickly.
