Pretty sure that's one of the Stratum fonts.
-
anything close to this
Hard to tell with a word like ATLANTA because they're pretty basic shapes. The only one I can really think of is Simian Text.
-
Anyone know what this one is?
It looks a lot like City Bold, but it's a little more rounded in spots, especially the serifs. The England FA has also been using it lately for some of their promotional and supporters' club material.

Does anybody know the font for Fox Sports regional networks (ex. Midwest, Wisconsin, North, Ohio, South, West, Carolinas, etc.) and the font for "Live" in Fox Sports Live?

The regional ones are from the United family. "LIVE" is likely a modified version of United as well.

Can anyone tell me which letter font was used on the "State" script wordmark; as well as the number font on the numerals?
Thanks.
Number font is Compacta, probably Bold.
Wordmark is custom, I believe.

kevsim1: 1 is Serpentine, 2 is Geared.

Looking for the Ohio State Buckeyes Pro Combat/Rivalry uniform numbers/font:
Looks pretty close to United to me, but with a custom '4'. Not sure which weight.
anyone knows the name of the font that says Tracer, or something similar?
Looks very much like it's hand-drawn lettering, not a font. The Rs are very inconsistent.
-
What about this font?
Those are two different fonts. The first appears to be FF DIN or a variation thereof. The second is a custom font that Puma has been using on kits and merchandise this year, including in the World Cup, so I doubt it will be widely available.
-
What is this font on the kit?
I believe that would be Zrnic.

That sort of blind ambivalence is the most dangerous: that if a person/organization is big enough, it's not as bad - when in fact, it's way worse. Sure, they kept Wonka's name on the post, but it doesn't look like they credited him at all.
Can someone give more insight on this specific situation?
That appears to be a Photoshop job that either Wonka did himself or someone at HJC did to make it look like it came from the Penguins' official account.

That is why there is a report button, and if it was a year ago i doubt that it is that important or hasn't already been taken care of
He's talking about the comments on the mothership, not here in the forums.
That said, I'm not sure there's much that can be done about it from here, or at least by the mods here on the forums.

Found this font from some page, but don't know the exact name of it. Just thought I posted it.
Any ideas?

Can anyone tell me the name of this font?:
In my opinion, I wish all of Alabama's sports programs should be re-branded under this modern letter/number font, while keeping its traditional colors.
Looks like a heavily modified version of Compacta to me.
The university of San Francisco dons.
City Bold, which can also be found as Civic Bold.

This is a font used by Dinamo Zagreb, a soccer club from Croatia.
They used to have it for download from their web page but they don't anymore.
I asume it's custom because the letter d is the main symbol of the club but if someone knows the name of this font or a simmilar font I would appreciate it.
Thank you in advance.
Looks like simply a modified Futura.
The numerals are making me think the base font is ITC Avant Garde.

I have another Big Shiny Tunes font here. I'm mostly looking for the font used for the tracklist on the red one. The lower case version is found at the top title of the blue one. Big Shiny Tunes really liked the grunge fonts.
-
Here's a tough one. Back in the mid-late 90's a Canadian Compilation album called Big Shiny Tunes was released annually by Much Music. The first and second album had this grunge font on the track list page that I really liked, and I never saw it again until I purchased Endgame by Rise Against which, to my surprise, has the exact same font.
Now Whatthefont.com wont pick this up and I can't seen to find info on it anywhere. It appears that there are 2 versions of each letter which makes this even more difficult to track down. So here is the back of Endgame. If anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated
Looks like you got a case of XBAND Rough there.
-
This font?
There might be some irregularities because that was likely stenciled or hand-painted, but Eurostile Bold Extended would be a close match.
-
Does anyone know what font the Arena Football League uses for the AFL atop their logo?
Likely custom, given they only had to create three characters. But SF Transrobotics might be a good jumping-off point.
-
No, that's a link to where the image is stored on your computer, which doesn't do any good. You need to upload it to a website like Photobucket and then copy and paste the URL from there.

Perhaps the board software doesn't take into account Daylight Savings Time ending later in North America — in which case, come Sunday, it'll be back to normal.
EDIT: Well, maybe not. The timestamp on this post said 07:28, which is what my computer said as well.
-
It's not a gif. It's not that big its just over 200 pixels.
What is the file format exactly?
-
Costa Sunglasses?
Stratum is what first popped to mind.
-
I'm sure all these changes — quote style, icons, etc. — were just part of a board software upgrade, and customizable options were reset to default. Most of the things you guys have pointed have already been changed back to what they were before.
