So I guess the flames on wordmark are inspired by this classic skateboarding logo-

[For the flame logo], we took references from skateboarding and its impact on hip-hop, music, punk music, even fashion.” The black base of the jersey contains a pattern designed to resemble a black shirt left out in the Florida sun a little too long, one that’s slowly fading to a lighter, grey-like shade. I personally love the new cap logo—it ingeniously merges a Ray with the Bay (rhymin’!) and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. The logo is placed on a black crown with a purple visor and a green button.

Thought the same thing. I think of California when I think of skateboarding, not Tampa

What's with the sleeve trim only being on one sleeve? Also, is the black jersey pattern supposed to mimic asphalt, grip tape or a Rays skin?

Maybe instead of Black Diamonds they could be the Utah Double Blacks? Double black diamond runs are the hardest/most dangerous EDIT- Nevermind, never even crossed my mind that some may think its racist. Hell there is a CFL team called the Red Blacks..

I am likely in the minority but I actually like the number font. Not everyone needs to wear a standard Block font a la the new Arena League

The home Blue is actually my favorite of the 4. Clean and classy

Updating my list of alternate helmets coming this year now that more information is available- * Ravens- rumored to be purple with a gold facemask and the alternate bird face/head logo * Giants- this one is still unknown. We saw the alternate jersey leak so have to assume this will be a faux leather look like Washington wore previously or maybe the NY logo that has a strike through it like they wore in 1975 * Vikings- rumored to be white to go with new icy alternate * Packers- rumored to be white * Broncos- white as we saw today * Lions- black as we saw last week * Jets- black as we saw last week * Jaguars- throwback to wear with teal throwback jersey * Texans- Navy blue with Old English H on it
