I think the smaller letters are made more noticeable because they also lowered the numbers to accommodate the extremely tight arc radius. So players with shorter names have a vast open space that looks comical. If they had kept the previous arc and number placement, the smaller letters might work.

This is what I was thinking. Also, if the letters had been kept "taller" instead of shorter. More condensed letters coupled with the less severe arc would look much better. It's how the Cardinals have done it for years. Look at Goldschmidt's. He has a fairly long name, but unlike other teams and the new Nike template where the letters are spaced more with a more severe arc, his name didn't go down and around the numbers while keeping the same individual letter size as everybody else on the team.

From what I could tell the Las Vegas Aces openly acknowledge the Thrill. Even some Raiders players have been spotted at their games. Not sure about other PVF cities. To be fair though 2 of the league's 7 cities have no existing major franchises.

Yeah I've seen parts of 2 games in Vegas and both had Aces players there. AJ Cole (Raiders' punter) was shown once there too. His wife was originally on Atlanta before being waived before the season.

I'm actually wondering how long they'll last in Vegas. Through 4 home games, they're averaging barely over 2k a game, have the three lowest total attendances and even had one game under 1k. I don't know if it's them playing in Henderson and if playing in one of the other arenas closer to the strip and the heart of the entertainment area would help or not, but it doesn't seem to be as popular of a market as they had hoped.

It should be the primary logo.

🤫 Shhh. He's here. Lurking. Just waiting for someone, anyone,  who dares criticize the 'DR' logo or implies it's not primary and helmet worthy...

Oh no. It's too late. He's already done it. He's given you the... thumbs down!😵

I corrected and put more teams to make it 10 teams each division

Green Bay will never have any major leagues sports other than football. They date back to a time when teams leagues were largely based in the east and upper midwest. Like when the Pistons were in Fort Wayne, IN, Sacramento Kings were the Rochester Royals and the Philadelphia 76ers were the Syracuse Nationals. It's not a major league city. If Wisconsin is gonna have an NHL team, it's gonna be in Milwaukee.

Has Seattle switched to grass? It looks like they have a line of turf laid down in the bench area that's different from the field. I also haven't seen a whole lot of the pellets coming up like I've seen before on that field.

Why is the Central Division only 9 teams?

The Atlantic Division has 10, Metropolitan 8, Central 9 and the Pacific has 10, one being in Tijuana, Mexico. Nothing in his scenario makes any sense.

I sure wouldn’t want to see it in sports though. 😉

Y'all been following the new Pro Volleyball Federation? Very exciting and entertaining. Good to see a professional volleyball league here in the States so players don't have to always be going overseas to continue playing post-college.

Brahmas unis are the same yellow as Memphis I think.

They're not. San Antonio uses Pantone 102, while Memphis uses Pantone 1235 (probably the most common shade of gold used across sports). The colors used in the uniforms may not match perfectly due to the manufacturer, but they're still closer to these than to each other.

Another Arte Moreno front office victory.

I fully respect his view of the game as his "job" and that his family comes first. It's how most people look at their careers. But when you're being paid that much money to DO that job, you better be giving it your all while you're at work. You don't have to act like you don't care about baseball to put your family first. You don't have to act like IT'S a distraction and burden to justify your priorities in life. Baseball is what's given you more financial security for your family at such a young age. More money than most people will ever earn working 30-40 years.

Sad, but predictable, that the XFL teams aren’t making any changes or fixes, namely Dallas with their helmet.

I agree that the Renegades should switch both the logo helmet back to the renegade and the name back to "Dallas", but given the timetable for the merger, I think any uniform changes probably, and understandably, had to be put on the back burner for now. Far more pressing issues to focus on.

Right on. These were designed to go along the monument wordmarks. Recycling this font by taking away the bevels and try to match it with a totally different uniform design with regular script wordmarks is lazy and awful.

I think this was a uniform that would've benefitted from NOT having a front number. Here's a really quick edit (seriously, didn't have much time) in AI.

Hmm. I actually like this. My only nitpick would be the inverted logo. Feels like it would've been more visible and more balanced with the Adidas and Purina logos if it stayed predominantly red.
