  1. Super Bowl 4 is another unexpected detail I've never noticed. The shading on the the Lombardi trophy.
  2. I love the detail in the AFL logo on the football.
  3. I'm hoping we get some sort of nice surprise with a different template. We have to be about due?
  4. It's possibly because of the Tennessee branding rather than the Nashville branding. To me, and I get the "Athens of the South" thing, but nothing in the 25 years they have been there, I've never seen anything that screams "Nashville." Like, they almost need all the cliche stuff to make the connection.
  5. They should have been the Redhogs or something like that.
  6. I know you do work for the Gridiron Uniform database. Any thought of doing other league fields? Like the CFL or old USFL fields etc. I'm sure you have enough on your plate already. Haha.
  7. I think the Giants should have switched to white facemasks when they went to the white pants. The grey seems out of place now. And I don't know why the 49ers gray facemask doesn't look out of place to me? Maybe because with that style uniform it's just always been that way? Their current design with anything else would take some getting use to.
  8. LED lighting. It doesn't put out as good of a light cone that the old bulbs use to. Never really noticed until they switched our old orange street lights out for white LED. The street got a lot darker.
  9. Every time he posts his work I want to give him the speech that David Baker of the Hall of Fame gives to the inductees.
  10. I'd like to see the modern uniform template and logo with the old school orange and royal blue.
  11. Here is the best I could find on one side. https://twitter.com/PaulCharchian/status/1590875749552037888?t=vKHOw6mUGzY8hVyUo_-LWg&s=19 Another one, not ideal, but a little better. https://twitter.com/CHARLOTTEMAN3/status/1590872529669091328/photo/1
  12. Another camo field in last nights Falcons - Panthers game.
  13. I'm all in favor of leaving history with the cities. Johnny Unitas didn't give a crap about Indianapolis. Jim Brown doesn't give a crap about Baltimore. Earl Campbell doesn't give a crap about Nashville. Kurt Warner doesn't give a crap about Los Angeles.
  14. The Bears looked like a :censored:ty Bengals tribute.
  15. I guess I never realized how often the "G" was used.
  16. I can't believe Mike Brown would spend money on extra helmets.
  17. I would love these on a good cardstock.
  18. The evolution of detail you put into these is amazing. Someday I'm gonna make a poster out of these and fight my wife for the opportunity to hang it up in our living room.
  19. @pitt6pack Thank you again for another great Super Bowl season and your continued documentation!
  20. If they're going to be somewhat standardized, I'm all for this! I love it! Well done!
  21. It's been so easy to nitpick these fields since Super Bowl 48. Many inconsistencies and just awkwardness. 48 - Conference Logos on same side of the field, making the Seahawks logo point away from wordmark. 49- The Patriots logo under the wordmark. 50- The beginning of no conference logos. 51- The Falcons end zone getting washed off throughout the game. 52- The lack of conference logos makes the Eagles endzone look really awkward. 53- Well, we got a helmet, but only one. 54- Well, we got another helmet, but only one. 55- Buccaneers flag blends in the the endzone. 56- White Bengals wordmark. Mangan probably doesn't care like we do.
  22. Can't tells if it's the angle, but that Bengals word mark looks centered between the "N" and the "G." Maybe the conference logos are returning? EDIT: I'm wrong, goal post is centered over the "N."
  23. Going out on a huge limb and saying the Rams endzone will be on TV right as correctly predicted by many.
