    Here's what I would do...

    1. Throw your field PNG into power point

    2. Draw a rectangle over your field

    3. Fill the rectangle with texture, such as Newsprint for example

    4. Change your transparency as needed

    5. Select all, and save as picture

    Voila!

I guess I'll have to contribute also. 😂😂😂

Yep, not sure if they are putting the team name in the end zones. But they had "Arizona" in both yesterday. nd no red striping on the 20's either.

Speaking of displaced 49ers, in 1989 they had to play at Stanford Stadium. I remember the field numbers being on the field twice. One at college placement and one at the NFL placement.

One of my least favorite end zone designs: partially painted end zones. They were all the craze in the aughts (Steelers and Titans jumped in as well), and it feels like someone who can't make up their mind. It's not difficult: just paint the whole damn thing.

I think they did that to cover up markings from game the previous day.

@SFCOM1 I don't remember that font all that much. Back then we had NFL Primetime and hoped you caught it in the highlights. Not like RedZone and YouTube we have today for research. Well done as always!

So we can guess that each team doesn't have their own rolled up carpeted End Zone, like the Jets/Giants do?

Or do the Giants/Jets scrub the paint out from green and just paint blue over it? I wonder.

The Giants and Jets have their own end zones. Sometimes if there is a couple of games back to back, they will use the blank endzones. It doesn't happen often.

  5. I don't like the inconsistency of everything. Why would one have a helmet and one not? Last year I could understand because the Rams didn't really have a separate logo for their old school look. I know it's probably only a small group of us that care, but come on. Who is making these decisions?

Just saw a good video on YouTube of George Toma. Regarding this game, he said with the change in pregame and halftime entertainment because of Desert Storm, there was more than usual practice on the field, and it ruined the grass in the center. They went to a local high school soccer field the night before the game, broke in and stole 1000 square feet of sod. By 1am, they resodded the center, and painted the logo.

  7. Good catch on the blue outline.

Small personal story, back in September I helped paint the numbers and center logo on my old high school's football field. Being volunteer and having limited time, and I really appreciate the effort put into painting the field. It took 4 of us 3 hours just to paint white numbers on the field. Lots of stakes and strings to make sure everything is in place. And we only have one sprayer.
