Just now, McCall said:
They did nothing with the WFT uniforms. It was literally the original uniforms with the old name swapped out for "Washington" on the jersey, stripes and logo removed from the helmet and replaced with just the number.
True, and it was still a lot better than what they came up with for the Commies.- 5

Thinking about the Nike redesigns since they took over the league.
Home runs:
Bengals
Chargers
Bucs return
Bills
Browns back to normal
Vikings
Good, not great:
Jets
Patriots
Seahawks
Jaguars Plain
Rams
Washington Football Team
Detroit tweak
Absolute Garbage:
Jaguars Half-helmet
Titans
Bucs Alarm Clock
Dolphins
Cleveland BOLD DROP SHADOWS
Commanders
Falcons
Am I missing any?

Nothing says city connect like the state on the jersey and hat

This looks fantastic. I'm a huge fan.
It’s so sad the NFL couldn’t have figured this out with the new Super Bowl branding from the start. Now we still have all those sad years of logos in the middle of great ones.- 1

Sigh… the Mariners need to ditch the Sunday creme. They sold well because of the novelty. Getting rid of the gray is a softball-league style move. Just change up the road grays so they have a new look.

How much should the CEO make based on your math? Why does this CEO salary mean it’s not really a non-profit? Non-profits means revenue=expenses. That’s it. It doesn’t mean executive salaries are capped.
In the real world, $11.5M is pretty cheap for a company with more than $20 billion in annual revenues.
If you were to give $11.0M to the rest of Providence’s 120,000 employees, each person would get an extra $80.00-$100.00 a year ($8-9 a month) at best. A company with 120,000 employees with, say, an average salary of $60,000 (which is probably low) would have a yearly labor bill of $7.2B
Keep licking those boots, I’m sure the billionaires will love you back.
Sportswashing for healthcare conglomerates and insurance companies have gone on for far too long. I’ve had enough. Wake up, the rest of the civilized world doesn’t put up with medical care that serves only grifters and religious zealots.

Before anyone tries to call Providence a “non-profit”: a quick Google says the CEO makes $11.5 million a year

I hope you searched specifically for Brendan Donnelly to find this image
But I didn't realize they didn't use Majestic. I guess my jersey isn't so special after all.
OMG… Brendan Donnelly, the Hold King. I can’t believe my fantasy league then even used that stat.

Seattle really should've been in the league for the last 47 years, if we're being totally honest. Only reason they weren't is because of the collapse of an owner's financing.
This is the story of our lives here. We seem to be held to a higher standard than other cities even though our metro area is huge and has the money to support all four major sports. The Sonics were stolen by David Stern and his cronies and STILL aren’t back.- 1

Texans May be changing unis. So get ready for the end of a modern classic (minus the stupid huge collar) and more Jags-style silliness.

Wish we could dump sponsors entirely from
kits. I’m ok with the uniform manufacturer’s small logos.
Problem is it would take an unprecedented amount of cooperation among the top countries, because right now everybody “has” to do it to stay competitive

I don't know much about Johnny Cash and Nashville, but Jimi Hendrix isn't really part of the cultural fabric here. There's a life-sized statue that people sometimes do gross things to, but Heart, Nirvana, Sir Mix a Lot and, more recently, Brandi Carlisle and Macklemore have much more local visibility here. Dave Matthews Band too, though that's always kind of weirdly touch and go.
Come to think of it, a Heart kit would be pretty sweet.
I don’t know about that… it’s not like Johnny Cash is on the top of the Gen Z charts either. It’s a matter of time. Jimi was decades ago but you can’t deny his influence still pervades all of rock and the Seattle music scene.I do think grunge is a much more relevant influence for the times. Nirvana and Soundgarden etc. Seattle would do better to try a flannel kit, but red is more of a Timbers color. So they’d have to do a different color But Portland may also ruin it with the plaid this year.

It seems a bit desperate that the Kraken are hosting an outdoor game and will play dress up wearing the uniforms of a team that locals have no real affinity for.
?? There are already people wearing Metropolitan sweaters around town. It’s kind of a hipster item IMO, they will definitely sell the sweaters.
I’m not sure what’s desperate about giving a hockey-crazed town a Winter Classic. T-Mobile is an ideal venue given the roof and all the amenities there.

Woulda been one slick piece of design if the team was called Athletic St Louis.
As it should have been all along. Can’t wait for the next team to be something like Cleveland United City ScFC- 1

Seattle of late seems to really enjoy having ugly uniforms.
I can't really remember the last one I loved. The pink one had promise, but it was an ugly shade of pink. Maybe the 2016 title set?
They’ve had a run of bad home jerseys, but the current ones are very good (although I wish they went full checkerboard or B/G stripes), and the last blue kit was good. I have loved the weird color choices in the past and this looks like another one. The electric yellow and cyan kits in the early 10s were and I hope they go back. I think the problem has been avoiding a clash with Adidas goalie kits.
Also, to the fellow who suggested every team have a white clash kit: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

The Kraken have an interesting conundrum coming up. I love the reverse retro which is primarily ice blue. But! I think we can all agree the Kraken need a light blue third that features the anchor logo and the standard striping pattern. But they have two blues to choose from:
Personally I LOVE shadow blue. Just a beautiful color. Plus as an added bonus it would allow the team to more easily keep the current striping pattern since the top stripe is already ice blue. It might look awkward to have ice blue bleed transition into more ice blue, and the Kraken have the unique position of avoiding white on the home sweater. But the RR already proves ice blue looks great on a sweater.
It’s a big favor to ask, but I wonder if someone could mock up a Kraken third in both colors to see which one looks better. I have to believe we will see a third soon because the Kraken have so far sold every iteration of sweater like hot cakes.

Morocco looks so good. What a world we’re living in where Puma outclasses Nike and Adidas.
Atlhough this WC May be Nike’s poorest showing ever. Just absolute trash with the exception of France.

Washington Huskies too - I call their current colors blurple and tan versus the purple and gold they are supposed to be. But i won’t lose any sleep at night over my rivals’ continued botched branding.- 5

Just want to drop in a quick note of appreciation to Kansas State. Despite the hiccup in the Ron P era that we will pretend never happened, KSU has never been bullied into switching out of one of the absolute best uniforms in college football. Even today they could have done some stupid monochrome thing or "icy whites" and they went for a look that put TCU's mix-n-match to shame. I'm not against an alternate helmet or pants with the same striping scheme but why mess with perfrction?

Blasty would look so good on a red sweater, but I get why they wanted an alternate color.
