Logically, Quebec should have a team but this is the NHL we are talking about.
-
So with another team up for sale how long is it now until we can rename the thread to "LNH Contre-fil: Le Revaunche du Chelmdale"?
Until Quebec City is awarded an expansion team.

The Coyotes just traded for Chris Pronger's cap hit so they can make the salary floor. This is allowed, somehow!
Great trade by Hextall and the Flyers! Thanks Phoenix/Glendale/Arizona!

If by "it", you mean "everything", then the Clippers uniforms are completely lacking "it".

^^ You are right. I didn't catch that. Still, very plain. Maybe I'm just used to the current UA Era of South Carolina.
-
Lou Holtz also did this:
I'm not sure what it is that I like. It seems more like a united front.
Those South Carolina jerseys look like generic practice jerseys. I remember Holtz's days there but I don't remember them looking that bad.

As much as I love to see hockey (or any sport) thrive in non-traditional markets, it's just not going to nor will it ever in Phoenix. Move the franchise somewhere it will be successful.
You don't have to worry about them being in a successful situation. The franchise is moving to Las Vegas.
-
As for Quebec City or Southern Ontario: "Nope. Both of those cities make the balanced conference problem worse," said the NHL team owner, who declined to speak publicly for fear of being fined by the league. "I think it leaves us with Las Vegas as our best alternative. I could see them moving the Coyotes there when the new arena is done."

Joel Embiid will never wear this in a game:
You're probably right

I think the St. Louis Cardinals' uniforms are incredibly boring. No red alternate, no piping, nothing. Just a white or grey jersey with the logo and some numbers slapped onto it. They honestly look unfinished.
I agree with the Cardinals uniforms being overrated but not because they are boring. There is something off putting about them to me. Maybe the cardinals on the bat make them a little too busy for my liking.

Yeah... that's it.
Unless he is counting the last two that were goalless after 90?? Those, IMO, were the best ones.

They're also pro slavery which I think supersedes everything.FIFA is anti-American, I hear that the 2026 World Cup will be in North Korea.
They aren't anti-American, but they're pro-bribery.
I'm generally not a fan of baycotting events. I don't think the US boycotting the Moscow games did anything. Likewise with them boycotting the '84 games. But this may be the most disgusting sporting event since the time of the Roman Gladiators. This event shouldn't be boycotted so much as it should be condemned.
I love the World Cup. It is probably my favorite sporting event of all. However, I seriously doubt if I'll watch much of this one. I may be melodramatic about this but having it in November and December is bad. Having it in Qatar is even worse.

I'm only fine with Vegas getting a team if they are the Las Vegas Coyotes. There's no need for two teams to try compete for the title of "drawing less fans to see hockey in a desert"
And they can use the old RHI team name and logo:
That exact logo could be used and it would fit right into the whole idea of having a team in Las Vegas....which is horrendous.
-
And when he played for the Cardinals, they were in the old NL East. So technically speaking, you can add this to your NL East list for him...
-
Man, as an Orioles and Phillies fan, the Markakis and Rollins pictures look so strange.
-
It's tough for Jersey to draw because of their somewhat close proximity to the Rangers and Islanders. I know some North Jerseyans who root for the Rangers or the Islanders. I never really hear about any Devils fans.
-
Jeff Carter was a d***head in Philadelphia too. I was so glad when the Flyers traded him.
-
They should own the color purple but sky blue wouldn't be bad.
-
The Colorado Rockies need a Rebrand. By that, I mean blow it up and start from scratch. This is 2015, not 1991.
Even the purple?
-
I remember him pitching for the Phillies. The best part of it was hearing Harry Kalas say his name.

The Flying BelichickThis beauty that the New England Patriots proposed
The Patriots will probably change the Flying Elvis to a Flying Belichick or a Flying Brady after they are gone

A long way from anything. I'm not agoraphobic but those pictures make me want to be.(Sorry in advance for large photo sizes) I'm having a hard time deciding if the High Desert Mavericks (Single-A Rangers affiliate) need to rebrand, or if they should stick with what they've got and run with it proudly.
Because at first glance, this...
...looks incredibly dated. But when you look at their ballpark atmosphere...
...the logo and identity package's desolate datedness actually fits in pretty well with the very remote setting in the Mojave Desert. The stadium is on the very outer reaches of Adelanto, CA, a "suburb" of the larger city of Victorville.
Man. You're a long way from the Show here.
The pictures are kind of misleading. There is a lot of urban stuff like a mile over. To defend the team a little bit, my wife and I went on a little vacation and hit up a few minor league games on the route. The people at the Mavericks game were so nice. Way better than any other minor league game I've been to. They had the biggest group of fans that were there for a random Tuesday night. Lots of them wearing jerseys and stuff. It was strange.
The logos definitely fit the team/city/location. Thought they were kinda funny before, but they fit very well.
It does look really nice though. I do enjoy remotely located minor league fields like that.

Definitely over. I'll say black/red/Vegas gold. I think the logo will at least contain the ace of spades.
