Group F is the group of death both on and off the pitch; I’d say Portugal, France and Germany are my faves of the bunch. Italy is close, especially if they use that green third instead of the crappy template away.

Nike really won the manufacturers’ tournament.

And Puma lost all 3 group stage matches and finished with a goal differential of -15.

Am I the only one who tunes into ESPN to watch live sports, and never any other time?

I think since Sunday Night Countdown jumped the shark back when it was acceptable to use the phrase 'jump the shark', that's my only use for ESPN.

In the last dozen years, I have probably watched ESPN a handful of times when it wasn't coverage of live sports. The only show I would still watch regularly was College Gameday but I hardly watched that the last couple of years.

Las Vegas is getting a team in the National Lacrosse League.

And I bet their ears perked up when they heard that there was no provision in the contract of the sale of the Minnesota Timberwolves that prevents them from moving.  Vegas is thinking "forget an NBA expansion team, can we get the Timberwolves?  We want the A's and we may try to convince A-Rod to move the Wolves to our great city!  Also MLS, can we have a team too?"

Las Vegas is going to go from forbidden land to having a franchise in each of the Big 4 leagues, MLS, and NLL (and probably more) in less than 10 years.

    Unbelievable.

They better brighten the green then. Say what you want about the current look but at the very least the green isn't that awful drab shade they were wearing before.

I am all for returning to that look but I agree. I'd rather have this mess of a look with the beautiful shade of green.

The away kits have been pretty nice. The home and thirds have been VERY hit or miss.

The only home that I wasn't thrilled with was the 2018/19 one. Coincidentally, that was really the only away I didn't like either. I'm usually not too keen on any thirds, as a whole.

I wonder if the Seattle hockey club got one of those old school coupon books that a bank would send you for installment loans. I could see the NHL doing that.

I've played pickleball. It's more fun than ping pong and not as strenuous as tennis.

That said, I don't understand why it's on television. It's a backyard game.

It's a tier above horseshoes or lawn darts but definitely a summer backyard activity.

Leonard Fournette is going to wear 7 this year

I'm more of a college football fan where a numbering system like this is commonplace, but this is so weird. It will take some getting used to.

FWIW, the PLL has released player t-shirts for the Cannons. Guess we can expect their first PLL jerseys to have generic block numbers.

They will probably do this because they are the only club with some kind of "history". Not that I think that they are the same franchise as the MLL one but I'm guessing the PLL will regard it as such.

I don’t mind Germany’s adidas stripes being tonal, but the crest and adidas logo being tonal is too much. The numbers and sleeve trim being just about the only thing you can see on the kit makes it look like a very generic, video game placeholder kit. I’m really not a fan of it and feel like they could’ve done much better. The 2018 set as a whole really blows this current set out of the water, in my opinion.

I like it but I agree. You can't see anything on the kit besides the bright white numbers.

It's getting dangerously close to free agency/draft season with only the Bengals confirmed to be updating their uniforms at this point. How can teams like the Cardinals and Broncos still be content with wearing the same outdated garbage year after year for the past couple of decades? I pray that one of these teams announces something in the coming weeks.

The Cardinals will screw up any update. Sure, the 2000s piping will be finally be gone but I feel like it will end being like the Falcons update.

Somehow, there are many that still like the Broncos "modern classic" with the tapered stripes straight from 1997. Even more baffling, some prefer the boring navy uniforms.
