I’m worried they’ll adopt powder blue as one of their primary colors, but I can see it happening because they’re in the land of 10,000 lakes. They’ll call it Minnesota Blue or something.

The thing that bothered me the most about the old Titans set was the helmet stripe that matched nothing else on their uniforms. I wish they had ditched that instead of blowing the whole thing up.
(Outlining the jersey yokes to somewhat match the pants stripes would’ve been good too, but the lack of that didn’t bother me as much.)

Today’s Madden patch included some of the new alt helmets. Holy heck, the Panthers’ black helmets with black jerseys, gray pants and black socks is a tremendous look. That should be their default home set.

I really like what you did with the Vikings. One suggestion would be on the purple elements and go with a yellow-purple-yellow stripe pattern. The white and yellow compete too much.

It looks like the Bears added orange socks to go with the orange helmet and jersey.

If and when the Bears create a new Color Rush, I’d like to see them go the Fauxback route. The helmet uses the script B coaches’ logo, the jersey follows the same template as the old Monsters throwbacks but uses the current number font all in orange, the pants are a standard double stripe, and the socks mimic the sleeves.

Via Instagram: For those wondering how the Commanders’ white uniform would work with the Cardinals’ helmet. It’s not great but it’s better.

And speaking of Madden, apparently the WFT uniforms aren’t in the game (at least for now) as a throwback. Disappointing, because I wanted to use the new helmet with that set. Oh well.

I don't know much about the popularity of CCM outside of hockey, but with Nike it seems more likely.
I also wonder if the NHL is not as popular as the other leagues within the Big 4 sports of America, and going with Nike would boost its recognition by a mile.
I wonder if getting back on ESPN would make the NHL more attractive to Nike. Gotta think it would, right?

This is the best the Dolphins have ever looked.

Blame the owners, not Nike (or helmet manufacturers). They can say no to this stuff if they want.

Couldn’t the Bears have just added an orange facemask to the traditional helmet?

I’m absolutely flabbergasted. This is a travesty.

It's beautiful. Now we wait for the new orangeless jerseys these will be paired with.
I bet they wear these at their "Welcome Back" event on July 30th. Rumor is they're going to bring back the 2017 color rush unis.
My hope is they re-classify the current white jerseys as Color Rush and create a new road jersey that has more orange. I doubt that happens this year, but maybe in the not-too-distant future?

For whatever reason, the “stealth” black really highlights how the helmet logo with rounded letters and football clash with the angular elements on the jerseys and pants. Just really poor design.

I wonder if this opens the door to teams having home and road breezers.
Some teams that could conceivably add road pants, based on their color schemes:
Panthers (red)
Capitals (red)
Avalanche (burgundy)
Stars (green)
Predators (yellow)
Sharks (teal)

I’d respect it a lot more if Manfred said “Nike is paying us a lot of money and we’re giving them what they want.”

Am I a nerd because I can’t wait to mix and match all the new helmets in Madden?

MLB 2022 Uniform/Logo Changes

The Guardians really did it right with their new uniforms. Enough continuity with the prior identity but enough new to make them stand out.
(I do wish they’d add red brims to their helmets at home. That bugs me. )
