  1. The Raiders-Browns broadcast just showed a clip of the Bengals from last year, and it reminded me of how garish Cincy used to look. No, the new set isn’t perfect but it’s such a clean and professional-looking upgrade for the Bengals.

With first the white RR one and now this, i fear that this design will be their primary set within two years... wich would be a shane since Pittsburgh has one the best set in the league right now imo

Am I one of the few who hates the current Penguins set because of the messy striping patterns?

Sadly they will, when the season starts. Nowadays the preseason is the only time when we see how NBA uniforms match ups should always look like.

No. The Bulls are going back to white in the regular season.

  4. This would be my ideal Giants set. It keeps the current home jersey with a smidge of red, restores the 80s stripe but keeps the red numbers/socks for the road like they’ve had for much of their history, and there’s a gray pants option too. The blue socks could also be worn with the white jersey.

Most importantly, there’s continuity between the home and road uniforms.

Or else just wear a white helmet whenever they want to because these days the NFL seems just as confused about their own uniform rules as everyone else is, and the haven't really bothered to enforce them since they relaxed the color rush rules.

Yeah, I feel like this is a gateway drug to teams just wearing whichever helmets whenever they feel like it.

  6. I wonder if the Bengals would’ve designed their road uniforms differently (more orange?) if they had known about a second helmet. They could’ve paired the white tiger Color Rush with a white and black helmet, while the standard road would have more orange to go with the primary helmet.

If Seattle intends on never changing their uniforms, they need to simplify, roll with this and call it a day-

I dunno. Seattle has made mono-blue its thing. Seems like it works for them.

(You’re on the money with the gray road set, though.)

Ohio State needs to switch to these permanently. They’re too good to not use full time and are easily identifiable as the Buckeyes. The other design is fine and cohesive but the vintage stripe is top notch.

Agreed, as long as they ditch the black TV numbers on the red jersey. I know it’s a throwback element but it was bad then and it’s bad now.

I don't love the Patriots' color rush uniform like so many people seem to.  Obviously, I hate the matching pants and jerseys, but also I just think the design is sort of plain. And I don't think basic UCLA stripes look good at all on the Nike template. However, there seems to be some momentum for it, so I thought I'd see if I could warp it a bit to make myself happy.

So much better than what they actually unveiled.
