Right? At least attempt to make it look more like a sun ray/burst.

Wow. All of these are unreal. That Suns one is absolutely incredible.

That Arizona one is really nice.

These are unbelievably good.

Sorry if I'm late to the party, but the logo is just that W that looks like someone about to make origami?

In all seriousness, the maroon/burgundy/whatever jersey isn't terrible but definitely needs some tweaking.
The white would look great as a Cards re-design (also some heavy tweaking), with maybe the Arizona state kind of flag sublimated into the shoulder stripes.

Why not just use Tucson's arena? Obviously the scheduling would have to be worked out, but I mean it's a 9k capacity and it's in Arizona.

I realize I may get absolutely man-handled for even suggesting this, but just a random , probably stupid thought:
I know that StateFarm Stadium is in Glendale as well, but is there a possibility they could play there temporarily? The Cards are only there every 2 weeks on average.
I'm sure it would be a logistical and organizational nightmare, but just a thought I guess.

Regarding SLC, hows the support for the Grizzlies? I know it's only ECHL...
-
I've said it a thousand times and I'll say it again- I really think that Norfolk-Virginia Beach-Hampton, VA would be a great one-team market for the NBA or NHL.

I somehow.....don't hate it.....
I feel like a proper hem stripe and refining the word mark would have boosted it up quite a bit.

Loved those Ducks jerseys. The set that replaced them has to be up there for the blandest unis in sports history.

I've always had a soft spot for the Yotes, so I hope it works out for them, but I feel as though no one really gives enough of a crap about them to really try to get something built. The best solution would be to move into the Suns arena, but I know the Suns aren't exactly rolling out a welcome mat.
-
What about OKC? Newer arena, I know not ideal for hockey, but she's over 15,000.
Or Kansas City. I'm pretty sure they built their arena with the hopes of luring a team. I mean I know the Scouts didn't work out, but that was over 40 years ago.

This has been ongoing for as long as I can remember. Relocation and/or contraction. I personally thought the Howard Terminal stadium was a done deal, but the A's ownership apparently are still completely incompetent. I'd hate to see them go, as I've inexplicably always liked them (even as a Tigers fan).

I gotta be the only member of these boards to not like that logo at all. The shield is way better
Agreed, at least on a helmet.

Phenomenal all around, especially the Falcons. That's what they should've gone with. Your Bucs red alt definitely gives me a KC Chiefs vibe, though.

^ Agreed. Part of the reason I love baseball so much is because of it's "old-fashioney" charm and the fact that the rules have only changed minimally in over 100 years.
The 6 playoff spots, with 2 (!!!) first round byes is the nail in the coffin for me. I loved it at 4, it was only the cream of the crop. Then the 2nd wild card I could live with, even though I always thought a 1 game playoff was stupid. It should've been a best of 5 series. Too many recent large scale changes.
