If Houston gets a franchise one way or another, would they share the Toyota Center, or build a new arena?

For sure, and even then it's tough.

Absolutely. They almost would've been better off renovating/expanding Jarry Park.

Can anyone enlighten on me why we're talking about expansion? I mean 20 years ago we were talking about contraction.

Nice, but I think black works for the Sens. Even though they're in Canada's capital, they've got rival Habs and Flames rocking heavy red. Black is their thing.

Pardon my ignorance, but is this basically a done deal? Like no chance of them staying in Oakland?

I agree that Houston needs a team. Massive growing, population with a fanbase that has always seemed to support their teams fairly well.
Atlanta, no. I'm sorry but 2 failed franchises has to tell you something.

This arena project is for Forsyth County, not the city near Macon. Forsyth County is NE of Atlanta right next to Lake Lanier.Oh....my bad.

Forsyth is actually much closer to Macon than Atlanta, so this would be a prime opportunity to bring back these bad boys:

Nice but I'm not seeing a lighthouse anywhere

Nice. I always thought it would have been cool if the Maroons had stuck around too, building a Cubs-White Sox, Mets-Yankees kind of thing.

Anyone have any inklings as to what the Flyers are doing with their set?

Lets get Arizona's house in order before we start adding more teams to the NHL.
Honestly, while it wouldnt surprise me if the NHL expands past 32, I think the NBA expands first, and maybe even MLB.
I think the NBA expands first too. Seattle and Las Vegas are basically shoe-ins IMO.

There can't be any possible way they're even sniffing at Atlanta, could there?

Not sure how I feel about the Lions changing their uniforms. Their current set still feels new, and it was already an upgrade over the previous one. Really if they'd just remove the logo and initials from the sleeves and clean up the font they would have a uniform that'd have staying power. I can very easily see this change being a downgrade, I really don't understand why they feel the need to scrap their current set already.
Somewhat agree. I think it just needs tweaking and refining.

As much as I'd hate to see them leave, it seems like the city of Oakland is and has forever been so incompetent. It might be best to move on.
