The man really regretted signing his contract that much that he got himself arrested in order to be waived. Brilliant. 

As much as I love the eggplant and green for the nostalgia factor, their current scheme has grown on me and is a bit better suiting. It sort of fits the locale and has a SoCal sunset vibe going on. However, it's utilized horribly.  Current colors on this new jersey would look good, as would the orange uni template. But seriously, lose the stupid foot logo and go back to the mask and sticks.

Why on earth would they pick THAT logo? I mean even an updated/better version of the cup winning wordmark would be better than that.

The Ducks just posted this, giving us a look at their 30th Anniversary patch on the home jersey and pretty much confirming no major changes this year, unless there's some sort of throwback or other anniversary jersey planned. Oh and there's an ad now too. Yay.

Also, we would never have needed a Blue helmet if we didn’t have a Grey jersey.  This is the slippery slope many have warned about.

 

They need to stop messing around with black and grey alts and alt helmets and just make a set based on the Barry Sanders era unis. And leave the current lion alone.  Yes I'm biased, but I think it's one of the best in the NFL.

Do Lions fans have any nostalgia for this logo? This feels... forced. Like they wanted a throwback logo on a helmet but wanted something more obviously different than their previous one.

The only nostalgia I have is because it's what they wore the last time they were remotely competitive lol.

Love the helmet, hate the pairing.

The reason I loved the previous set is because of all the little things that made them feel 1970's-esque....namely the over-lapping numbers (which I originally hated) and the contrasting nameplate. I also much prefer the previous hem stripe.
