So is it confirmed that the Seahawks aren’t wearing grey anymore?
Wow, we might finally see them wear white in the desert. And of course the Cardinals will ruin it by wearing black.

At this point, I think the NFL just says "yes" anytime teams ask if they can wear something.
The last thing I can remember them denying was San Fran’s request to wear their white Color Rush in the Super Bowl against KC.

Wanted to share my annual week-by-week schedule design on here. Not directly uniform-related, but thought this would be a decent place to get some feedback. I do update it throughout the year with alternate/throwback logos and colors where applicable. Already have the throwback logos in place for the games that have been confirmed.
Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks are throwing off the balance a bit this year.

The Pats schedule seemed somewhat believable, but the opponents one is clearly completely fake:
Giants already announced they’d be wearing the throwbacks for other games
Dolphins never wear white over aqua at home
Several of these teams (Eagles, Saints, Bills, etc.) don’t announce pant color until the week of the game

Some Patriots uniform rumors
My biggest takeaway here is that the Jets will potentially be wearing green at home by Week 3.

Awesome work @gothedistance
I agree with a lot of your predictions.
Here are some of my thoughts:
Washington hadn’t worn white at home in September for years until last season. I think it’s possible they just wanted to show off the new white uniforms to the fans. I’m hoping we see burgundy Week 1 vs. Arizona or at least by Week 3 vs. the Bills.
That Week 2 Carolina game is MNF, so I don’t think they’ll wear white at home vs. the Saints as they have the past two seasons. I think we may see the black helmet with the blue jerseys for that game.
Regarding the Week 11 Dallas game, Carolina has worn white at home against them several times in the past, but in recent years it’s been September and October meetings, so I’m hopeful we see the black jerseys for a change. Could go either way.
The Saints didn’t wear the white Color Rush at home last season aside from in London as the home team. However, the year before they wore it three times at home, so that TNF game against JAX could go either way.
I expect Atlanta to wear the throwbacks a third time in place of the gradients rather than the white jerseys with how popular those are.
The Rams have just one home game in September. Do they want San Fran coming into town in their red and gold? I think it’s possible they pull a 2022 Chargers and don’t do white at home at all. Or maybe they do it for a different game. I hope they get it out of their system for that Niners game if they must and then stick with blue the rest of the season.
Last season they wore white at home in Week 5 against the Cowboys, but that was probably just a Cowboys thing since we’ve seen them wear blue by Week 4 most years.

Doesn't really tell us anything about uniforms aside from the Creamsicle date that we've known about. They are honoring Ronde Barber during the Monday night game and include a picture of him in the white jersey, but hopefully the team wears red for that game. We've seen the Eagles wear green at Tampa numerous times.

This helmet would’ve looked fine with the current logo in silver, but to combine a throwback logo with a modern Color Rush uniform just looks extremely weird. And to wear it against the team with literally the most silver/gray on its uniform in the league makes no sense.
Most teams have reached the point that a home prime time appearance automatically equals alternate/monochromatic uniform. It’s sad that on the national stage we rarely see teams looking their best anymore.I would like to see the gray worn against the Packers at some point. The yellow would at least clash nicely with it, and we still haven’t seen this uniform matchup.

Lions in blue vs both Raiders and Vikings would have been gorgeous. I think wearing them against Denver or Carolina would have been better options
Agreed. Denver's navy and orange would've provided some contrast. They have worn blue against the Vikings a bunch though so I don't really care about that game.
This is what happened last time Detroit wore gray against Carolina, but at least teams seem to have switched to wearing white when that happens.

I knew they wouldn't wear blue against the Raiders on MNF. Would've been a great looking matchup.

The helmet being discussed on local Detroit radio just now. Supposedly it’s being talked about in conjunction with a “complete overhaul” coming next year. It sounds like making guesses about what it might look like based on the current uniform are kind of useless. Instead, once we see it, it might carry some clues as to what next year’s changes will look like.
What is there to overhaul? They have a good uniform. They just have some terrible combos they wear sometimes.

I would absolutely welcome a blue helmet to go with the gray Color Rush. That uniform badly needs some life and contrast if they’re gonna keep wearing it multiple times per season.

Unpopular opinion: I like the pewter alts
To me they are just a colorless excuse to sell additional jerseys and they take away red jersey games, which there already aren't many of.

I thought that might be an indication that it will be a white throwback, but then I realized this is the cover photo on the team Twitter page:
https://twitter.com/Buccaneers/header_photo
I also don't think they would do white when everyone has been referring to them as the "Creamsicles".
Then again, this team is obsessed with white. Could they maybe be pull a Dolphins and do a white version and a color version of the throwbacks (and ditch the pointless pewter alternate to make room for it)?

This was indeed very strange and pointless. Thankfully it stopped in time for the Beast Mode run against New Orleans in the 2010 playoffs.

My biggest issue with Seattle's uniforms is that they ditched a cool, unique shade of blue that suited their brand perfectly in favor of overused navy. I'd love to see the old shade of blue on the current set.

Looks like Carolina may be pairing the black helmet with the blue jerseys and black pants this season.

Called it! Week 7 I think will be white/pewter against the Falcons then.
Let's hope that if they think it's okay to wear a non-white jersey this early in the season that they will transition away from white at home at this point entirely. They still haven't worn red against the Falcons since the redesign.

I bet you think the Maple Leafs and Rangers are too close for comfort too.
Nope. The Rangers use way more red than the Bills. All I'm saying is that the Bills would look more unique with a red helmet, and therefore I would welcome it, which was the original context of my post.

True. No similarities here at all. It's basically like comparing the Steelers to the Dolphins.

Unfortunately for the Texans, the new NFL alternate helmet rules have stated that alternate helmets must be used with alternate uniforms. Hence why the Texans have worn red/red, Bears have worn orange/orange, Eagles have worn black/black, etc. If the Texans switched to the red helmets as their primary, then they could wear it with their blue and white uniforms, adding a little more contrast.
I think most of these teams would be doing this anyway even if it wasn’t a rule. They think it’s cool for things to be the same color. I would rather not have the alternate helmets at all.

It's not so much the Bills look better in red helmets, but it it differentiates them from the 6 or so other teams who use white helmets, vs only KC who uses red. The Jets and Titans have recently bailed on white lids because of their blandness.
Oh, and there's also that Bills AFC dynasty.
Yup, right now they look too much like the Colts and Giants. Still don’t have a team that uses both blue and red elements (helmet and jersey). Closest thing was the Texans before they had to ruin that by wearing a red helmet with their red jerseys.

Seattle is wearing the throwback in Week 8 against Cleveland, which should be a nice-looking matchup. It’s unclear if this means it will be the only appearance. Many of us suspected it would be worn on Thanksgiving, but they have two other alternate uniforms as well.

So this pretty much confirms that the alternate helmet will be worn with the Color Rush jersey? The teaser made it seem like it would be a white helmet. Hopefully it's just an accurate shade of blue and not orange like the Bears...
