Gotta say the most recent iteration of the XFL got Seattle right with the Dragons and the color scheme. Just saying...

I am SOOOO used to that original color scheme, it's so ingrained in my head. But you know what, that color change actually works really well.

For what it's worth, I concur with this.

Overall I dig the new Panthers logo, especially the oval, but I think the purple needs to be more prominent inside the logo on the helmet.

As a Colorado fan I'd like to see the Pac12 at least bring in Colorado State and Boise State into the fold, those certainly make sense geographically. CU/CSU is already a rivalry game and Boise State could fill that niche for Utah...the Pac12 tried to manufacturer a rivalry game between Colorado and Utah, but that's just not the same. As a side note, when the Pac12 expanded last I never did understand why they didn't just take the number of teams out of the conference name. Something like the Mountain Pacific (I know, close to the Mountain West, but still) makes a lot more sense given that they have many teams not on the Pacific coast and in the Rockies region.

I wouldn't classify 3-down football as "American." Sure, Canada is in North America, but the rules are different enough that when folks hear American football they think of the rules played in the USA.

It's a nice secondary for sure, and while the rider logo could use an update, it's a classic.

Because it is a relaunch. verb reintroduce or restart (something, especially a product). "he relaunched the paper as a tabloid" noun an instance of relaunching something. "a relaunch of the first Dior perfume"

Well, this iteration of the USFL already has the Blitz in Baltimore, but I remember seeing the Bombers colors and logo and it was pretty nice.

Well now, here is where we diverge dude...I think the Michigan logo and colors are far superior to the Carolina one in all ways.

I'm thinking the Panthers are set up for this with the "swoopy" nature of their logo already lending itself to that "swoosh" style (go Nike!) pant stripe.

Hard to have any enthusiasm for something that's a year and a half away. Not to mention it's the third try for the XFL.

Same here, I’ve been hoping that if the CFL and XFL merge the majority of CFL rules stay, but the XFL PAT rules added a great element of strategy to things. I dug them as well. Not sure if I read it here or elsewhere, but saw someone mention that all these spring leagues (AAF, XFL, now USFL) should just quit trying to go it alone, pool their money and resources and make a go at it together. Certainly would have deeper coffers and a better chance to survive that way.

I'll happily take any and every opportunity to crank up this Rush classic.

Folks may have seen me post about this before, but I have so many fond memories of the USFL. I grew up in south central Florida, graduated high school in 1986 and went to many Bandits games in Tampa. One thing that baffles me right out of the gate is how in this day and age can they make an announcement like this without even a freakin' league website? Even something minimal with just the logo, that's just crazy.

The only one I really don't care for is the Mad Dogs one...never liked that honestly. The others are all solid and would fit in St. Louis for sure with the Surge being my 3rd pick for the franchise.

Just a quick chime in to say I'm enjoying following along in the sim and the write-ups. Happy to see the Bandits getting back to the winning side of things. Are you using Wolverine's Pro Football sim game? The standings shots look similar to that.

I definitely dig the mountains embedded in proposal 2.

My bet is the CFL has to adjust their schedule to earlier and the XFL bumps back a bit to play late spring through summer to early fall. Labor Day games are pretty big in Canada so it'd be nice to see the Grey Cup or playoffs or something coincide with that. Wrap up the league just before or shortly after the NFL and NCAA comes back.

The Breakers are one of the all time best identities and helmets in sports, no way they should become the Voodoo. I won't debate you on the Renegades however even though I like the logo and color scheme.
