  1. Oh man, I have bookmarked that website to read through it. I have such fond memories of the USFL...watched all I could and attended many Tampa Bay Bandits games back in the day. Still miss that league to this day...curses to Trump and his push to go to the fall.
  2. To me I never understood feminizing a school mascot name or adding "Lady" in front of it...Lady Buffaloes or Lady Gators or whatever. Most names are not masculine in and of themselves, Lumberjacks included...yes, while most lumberjacks are likely male, I'm sure they have been and still are female lumberjacks. After all, we don't say Man Buffaloes or Man Gators when referring to the male teams.
  3. Yea, that's pretty much what he said.
  4. Portland and Boise look sweet, the color palettes are unique and work wonderfully.
  5. A little saddened, the updated Stampeders logo just doesn't do it for me. I like all the other updates, but something about it just doesn't ring with me.
  6. Yea man, much better with the EE...eagerly awaiting the Stamps. It definitely needs the most awesome helmet in sports, the Outlaw!!
  7. I like the re-imaged Edmonton logo but the EE gets a little lost with the striping to the left and right of it. I'm wondering how it would look without those, just the EE inside the green bar/stripe.
  8. As a huge CFL fan I'd love to see that. Perhaps with expansion in the US but ONLY locations along/near the northern border.
  9. Just doesn't work for me without the orange, needs to have at least some and personally I prefer it being bold and out front per your original concept.
  10. Love it dude, but I think I’d like to see a little red as an accent color. Definitely dig the orange being so prominent.
  11. The need for a debate of this type always slays me. They are two different animals because of the rules. One example is the wider field and having the d-line a yard off the ball requires a bit smaller and more agile offensive linemen. I'm a HUGE CFL fan...have been for about 5 years now and the caliber of players in the NFL is definitely better than that of the CFL. But so is the level of athlete in DI football to DIAA, DII, DIII, etc. and on down to juco and high school. That's not to say you can't watch some great, exciting and entertaining football at the "non-elite" levels. It's more about the level of competition being relative to each other, having well coached athletes, good game plans, etc. Many, if not most, of the CFL players are just a slight notch below their NFL counterparts...good, but just not good enough. It's a spectacularly exciting brand of football to watch.
  12. Seattle Haze with Jimi Hendrix on the helmet for the win!!
  13. I'm right there with you man, as long as the talent level is fairly equal from team to team some great and entertaining football can be played. Just look at all levels of college and even down to high school...fun stuff and the vast majority of those players ARE NOT NFL caliber.
