How exactly would they cram the numbers, cardinal, and state flag onto the sleeves? With today’s uniform trends, they’d likely only pick one of those elements.

This is 100% my favorite Cardinals redesign that I’ve seen. Using the state flag colors without being painfully obvious about using the state flag. (fairly certain this is from someone on these boards, but I don’t know who)

The last thing I wanna see on a Cardinals uniform is a state flag. Find other ways to implement the colors into the uniform.

Washington will always remain a tone deaf organization. After 14+ years which includes one uniform supplier change and three different franchise names, they still continue to make money off a dead “retired” player

One thing I actually do like is the use of “Commanders” on the home jersey and “Washington” on the away

IF that black helmet is to be worn with the white jersey, I at least hope they have common sense enough to put the gold dubyas on both sides with the gold stripe.

The burgundy helmet and jersey are probably the only two salvageable things about this. The white jersey is fine. I just hope it gets paired more with burgundy pants and the possible gold pants more often than white pants. At least that way, the more evenly distributed color throughout. The black uniform just sucks from head to toe. The helmet is horrendous. The team should just done two gold stripes, the “W” on one side and numbers on the other. Th base of the jersey is whatever. They easily could’ve done gold/burgundy/gold sleeve stripes with stars above. I’m not giving it an F, but holy lord does this set need proper care and affection after the 2026 season.

IIRC, someone in this thread stated that the black helmet is to be worn with the white uniform at some point. How can that be the case when the new rule states that an alternate helmet can only be worn with an alternate uniform?

Is there a decent mock-up or photoshop of the white jersey with gold pants and burgundy socks?

As someone who stated multiple times that Washington should take some pointers from a few college teams… I fear I may have strayed too close to the sun

I’d almost guarantee Washington wears the black alt against already black heavy teams (PIT, LV, CAR, JAX) Even though this set is a complete trash heap, and we’re not entirely sure if the gold pants are real… I’d like to see these combinations, but I don’t expect in the slightest Burgundy/White/Burgundy/Black Burgundy/White/White/Burgundy Black/White/Black/Burgundy Granted, they’ll likely all look horrible, but it’d be better than seeing all burgundy and all white for the whole season
