  1. A “BENGALS” helmet and nothing less
  2. Since Nike has taken over, the shade of green has been an improvement for the Eagles. I never cared for the shininess of the Reebok era. As far as Kelly Green goes, it works fine for a potential throwback, but not full time, IMO.
  3. This looks fine, IMO. I meant just the bone pants and socks paired with the blue jersey. The exact opposite of this-
  4. I’m assuming you mean a team like that would have free range to do a different colored helmet for the sake of a different colored helmet? The first team that comes to mind is Miami. They seem pretty solid on having a normal set and a throwback set. For as much love as the throwbacks get, why would they risk an aqua or orange helmet?
  5. Home should be color Away should be white Alt should be grey or color
  6. It is bad. I don’t know how anyone can look at that and say it’s not. I’m not talking about the set as a whole either. I’m talking about how, for some reason, Lawrence (or whoever told him and Etienne to wear this for the photo shoot), thought the all white below the waist was a good look. Unless I missed something last season, for as bad as the Rams may look, at least they never wore all bone below the waist in a game.
  7. Unless they decide to change this new rule in 3-4 seasons, it’s going to be two. As we saw with the Color Rush program, there’s definitely a high likelihood it gets relaxed to allow mix-and-matching with the regular home and aways.
  8. A purple team doing purple things isn’t encroaching on anything. It’s like saying the Patriots can’t ever do a Pat Patriot helmet again because the Bills currently use a white helmet full time.
  9. If the Bears and Saints had a love child
  10. I highly doubt a team as traditional as the Bears would be dumb enough to pull something like that. A faux leather helmet? Absolutely should be in the cards. A ridiculous orange helmet for the sake of an orange helmet? Not a chance in hell.
  11. Yes. @Old School Fool even says “Raiders” in the post
  12. Possibly the only team I’m okay with doing this is Baltimore. They’ve only ever had a standard black helmet plus they can’t exactly do their original helmet logo for legal reasons. All purple* would be fine by me. *- with the inclusion of black socks.
  13. I hope the Vikings do this right and bring back these- and even though I loathe the purple mask with purple helmet, these would be nice too-
  14. We’ll probably see the faux leather helmets for Washington. Once the rebranding happens, it’s open season on helmets for that team
  15. I know it’s probably a typo, but that’s definitely Jason Taylor
  16. These, are better than these, and these, but all three are better than these,
  17. The Cowboys? Absolutely The rest of the division? Not a snowball’s chance in hell
  18. Except for the fact that “Football Team” is the official name so it’s not an issue. There’s a big irrelevancy to “Football Giants” still being used. It may be fun to say, but there’s no point in referring to New York as such.
  19. I’ve heard it quite often honestly. I’m not entirely sure why anyone still says it. It’s irrelevant to even mention the “Football” part for the Giants. As is “THE Ohio State”. At least with Washington there’s currently and legitimately a necessary reason to say the “Football” part. More of a “grinds my gear” kind of deal, I suppose. To each their own.
  20. FOOTBALL Team FOOTBALL Giants I don’t know, math checks out to me.
  21. At least “Football Team” has relevancy to the current league landscape. Pretty sure there’s no need to keep saying “FOOTBALL Giants” after 63 years of the other Giants being out West.
  22. Can we all agree that the biggest menace is people still referring to the Giants as “The New York FOOTBALL Giants” as if it still has any real meaning anymore.
