  1. More power to them, honestly. Some may look fine, some may look like :censored:. You can’t bar a team from using a main color to its fullest capacity.
  2. The difference is Minnesota uses black as an accent color to purple while Baltimore treats purple as a primary color alongside black.
  3. So Baltimore can’t have a purple helmet because “bUt tHe ViKeS uSe pUrPLe tOo”
  4. Everything about this quote is great until you get to the gradient part. That tells me it’s more of a faux back with gradient elements than it is a true throwback to whatever uniform he’s talking about. Unless he’s just talking about the entire uniform set as whole.
  5. The only flaw IMO is the away set. Too much is wrong with that, but great with everything else
  6. It’s a uniform that deserves to be left in the past. The “throwback” status is a memento of what was. I don’t mind if they bring it back with modern touches. One of which is a better logo.
  7. Agreed 100%. Ditch the current jerseys. I’d go as far as keeping the white pants around for alternate looks.
  8. Now that the 49ers have a throwback home and away set, I hope this doesn’t turn into a Dolphins situation where everyone is clamoring at the idea of “They should just wear them full time.”
  9. How about none. It doesn’t make any sense for the Bears to have any other colored helmet unless it’s a different finish (like matte or satin) or a faux leather.
  10. You know what, I was going to write a scathing response, but after review... I like this idea a lot. Definitely a different play on throwback uniforms.
  11. Eh, much like the Seahawks, they look better in grey/silver pants compared to white. If the uniform change is true for the Lions (which would take place after this season), all they need to do is use the number font from the throwbacks, maybe have a double outline, and if they absolutely insist on keeping “WCF”, move it back to the chest. Everything else is fine, IMO.
  12. Assuming that third set is the color rush option, it seems too dark
  13. A white helmet for the Ravens just seems counter productive given the theme of the team
  14. I never said they need one, but in the event they decide to have one, a purple alt helmet is the best option.
  15. Member Brandon Moore did a fantastic job with that- https://www.behance.net/gallery/95979231/Baltimore-Ravens-Re-Brand-Concept
  16. I don’t know how to explain it, but this feels... right? Is it because it’s that much of a better uniform compared to its successor?
  17. Okay then so it’s simple. Give the Ravens a purple alt helmet and Minnesota a black alt helmet. Seriously though, what do you suggest the Ravens do in the event of the team deciding they want a second helmet? Purple is the most logical, white is a stretch and no chance in hell they do gold after the fiasco involving gold pants a few years ago. Unless they decide to scrap their color rush and unveiled a grey/anthracite/silver alternate uniform, I don’t see that as an option either. Saying a team can’t do a certain color helmet because another team shares a similar color scheme is a poor excuse.
  18. When I saw the new set for the first time, it instantly made me realize how the Chargers somehow have been able to master three different shades of blue and maintain a consistent design in their existence. Which is absolutely amazing, IMO. The Chargers uniforms have never received the proper love they deserve
  19. If only the Cowboys could be this consistent with their blues and silvers, honestly. Instead, we get three uniforms that don’t match, one of which is their best and rarely gets taken out of the closet, two shades of blue, unnecessary inclusion of black, vaguely green pants (prior to 2020). Am I missing anything? Maybe the Cowboys should take a few pointers from Detroit
  20. I’m sure if my eyes deceive me, but I think Detroit has three different shades of grey pants
  21. There was nothing wrong with the 2007-19 Chargers set. It didn’t need to be changed, but the team managed to improve their look in every way
  22. For as much love as the Texans proposed white helmet gets and how 90% of fans want them to do a faux (or even true) throwback to the Houston Oilers, 1) it’ll never happen 2) they’d 100% do a red helmet to have the full battle red uniform
