Supposedly the actor who played Billy was bullied and harassed beyond belief from crew members for being gay. At one point he walked off the show because of it and was hesitant to come back for Zeo. They probably didn’t care to make anything of the character because of that.

Idk I think these uniforms can be brought back if they elect to keep the current logo (unpopular opinion, I know). I don’t find any worth in resurrecting the older logos.

Love the number on the pants. That’s one element I wish more teams did.

It actually made it relatively exciting to watch.

The light blue jerseys are pretty sweet. Same deal with the sleeves on the whites.

That’s the thing. The Giants, Mets, and Yankees “NY”s are noticeably more iconic and easily distinguishable. The Jets “NY” feels like the team keeps trying to play catch-up and they constantly trip over their own feet.

Every time I see this logo, it makes me think it’s some generic knock off shirt that I can buy from some swindler on any corner in New York City and the shirt has some obvious misspelling like “The New York Jats”
