  1. Why not? During the preseason, numbers are essentially fluid until regular season Week 1. Before this upcoming season, we’ve seen players wear non-traditional numbers for their assigned positions. Notably RBs and WRs. As well as dual numbers for defensive and offensive players. Now with the number policy change, it doesn’t and shouldn’t really matter what number a player chooses.
  2. At this point, the NFL should at least allow players to wear 0 in the preseason. Regardless of position.
  3. Leonard Fournette is going to wear 7 this year
  4. Orlando MLB- Nines (9 planets(yes, Pluto too), 9 players on the field)
  5. Boy is it. Great stuff. However, I felt like crap for a solid 10 minutes after drinking it. Might’ve been all the sugar in it.
  6. I see EIGHT different fonts being used and unless my eyes are deceiving me, I’m not entirely sure the baseball is a perfect circle either
  7. The Frederick Keys of the MLB Draft League, former affiliate of the Orioles, have unveiled an (absolutely piss-poor) Inaugural Season logo-
  8. That would be a tough sell. It wouldn’t work as a primary logo either. A Roman or Greek warrior? I’m all for it, but the team would have to explicitly say and show that to be the case.
  9. Respectfully, I disagree. 1. Cop-Out 2. Cop-Out under the guise of honoring a different minority 3. The weakest of the proposed names. Sure it’s unique, but it doesn’t mean it’s good. 4. Great way of getting the point of 2 across without being in your face about it 5. If George Washington inspired, would probably see backlash. 6. Could potentially work in line with Aviators 7. Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense 8. See 3. 9. Mixture of 1 & 3. 10. Yes.
  10. Three things are certain in NFL team uniform concept redesigns- • Arizona Flag for the Cardinals • Maryland Flag for the Ravens • Jaguar spots for Jacksonville None of those ever look good in any way
  11. A player cannot change his current number for the 2021 season unless said player is willing to buyout their remaining jersey inventory. However, number change requests can be made for the 2022 season without issue.
  12. Just because it sounds “cool” doesn’t mean it’s good... or necessary.
  13. Except for the fact that the second anyone looks at those feathers, they’d know exactly what’s implied. You can’t tell me someone could look at this and not think of the previous name Of my own opinion, I think it’s aesthetically a great logo on paper. However, it’s time to cut all physical ties to the old name. That includes the feathers. Regardless of whatever coverup you want to give it.
  14. Ah shoot. You’re right about that. I do think a rabbit themed identity could be a breath of fresh air to the league though.
  15. If they go with an animal, it would be wise to avoid a bird name. There are five bird teams already. No need for a sixth. “Wolves” is probably the best one to go with, however there could be other interesting options like- • Coyotes (Regional) • Cottontails (Regional) • Mammoths (Honoring the Smithsonian) As far as personal opinion, I still hold my stance that “Thirty-Twos” is the most intriguing option.
  16. It still doesn’t mean they should keep “Red-” nor should they be meta about it and say “Dark Red[insert name]”
  17. If they want Redtails for the new name, they can easily pick Pilots or Aviators to honor the Tuskegee Airmen. It doesn’t explicitly have to be “Redtails” to get the point across. Same deal for Redwolves. They can call themselves the Wolves and be done with it. Utilizing “Red-” would 100% be a deliberate handicap the team can absolutely avoid.
  18. The burgundy & gold are staying. Ownership already said months ago that was the only thing going to survive. It’s definitely a way of saying “This is the team you know and love.” No one is saying the franchise or fans are “dropping the team’s tradition” cold turkey and starting anew. There’s really nothing the team is trying to disconnect either in terms of tradition. They don’t erase the logo or the name from photos, documents, etc. Its all still there. The team has just chosen to not say the name or acknowledge the old logos. Everything pre-2020 is “in Washington franchise history”. Which is completely fine on all accounts. The fans that don’t like the name change are just stubborn mules at this point. You can’t do anything to change their minds.
  19. Except it kinda does. It’s still derived from the older Native American head logos that Washington used.
  20. Top 3 current uniforms in MLB (in no particular order)-
