  1. Their overall franchise win-loss record is 200-215-1. Which isn’t historically bad in the slightest. 12 of their 26 seasons have been 7-9 or 8-8 (7-8-1 in 2014). For two 5-11 seasons, they’ve had three 11-5 seasons For one 4-12 season, they’ve had three 12-4 seasons For one 1-15 season, they’ve had one 15-1 season Two 6-10 seasons One 2-14 season
  2. See, I’d rather have blue pants over white pants. It creates a better balance. Using your concept as a basis, Blue/White/Blue Blue/Black/Blue and the occasional blue/white/white That's all they need really.
  3. The best place to see how this would look is the Dallas Renegades of the XFL. The Renegades blue is a few shades lighter than Carolina, but it gives a good context of what it would look like. If Carolina did go with a blue helmet, they’d almost have to axe the silver pants in favor of blue and black pants.
  4. I really don’t get the reasoning behind Carolina needing new uniforms. Is there any concrete evidence to support the claim? The current ones are fine, but I could see them going in a Colts+ direction. Not a total overhaul, but rather refining the current look. The first step should revolve around the shoulder number sizing issue. For whatever reason, I’m assuming cut/template issues, the shoulder numbers have received a noticeable size change. Either take out the sleeve logos and move the numbers to the sleeves or just take them off and keep the logos on the sleeves. The second step is changing the helmet stripe. It’s arguably one of, if not, the worst in the league. It gets dangerously close to the helmet logos. Either go stripeless or match them to the jersey and pants. The third step is fixing the pants stripe. Now, it isn’t a huge deal and I could live without a fix, but the bottom just looks weird. Streamline the stripe and have it even all the way down, like a normal pants stripe would be (see Texans, Patriots, etc.) Other than that, there’s no real reason to give Carolina a complete overhaul. Again, the uniforms aren’t bad. They just need a little TLC
  5. (I don’t mean to deviate even more from the thread subject) I agree. You could honestly throw Oklahoma, Georgia, and even Iowa State (after their performance against Oregon) into that conversation too. It’s perplexing how the committee watched ND get blown out in the ACC championship and still thought “they’re still good enough for the No. 4 seed” then watched that same ND team get blown out on an even bigger stage against No. 1 Alabama.
  6. The Washington rebrand could happen this offseason. Although, it’s been suggested that they may hold off for one more season or even keep the Football Team name. I don’t think any other teams are up for new uniforms. Unless Joe Burrow and Kyler Murray have had any influence, Cincy and Arizona don’t seem to be budging.
  7. I meant it in the context of, Indiana played the number of games initially necessary for the Conference Championship yet the rules got bent for (and only for) Ohio State. For what? Conference integrity?
  8. I found myself more invested in the Georgia-Cincinnati than the two semifinal games. Especially Ohio State-Clemson. That game honestly felt like it actually mattered. How can the Big Ten look at a 6-1 Indiana team and not think they should’ve been in the conference championship over Ohio State? Unfortunately like you said, Ohio State was deemed the conference’s only way into the CFP Championship. Likely due to notoriety over the other Big Ten programs rather than actually playing to the rules they set at the beginning of the season. It’s a shame the Big Ten and college football in general refuses to acknowledge anything below Ohio State. Even Michigan is facing conference irrelevancy.
  9. A real shame Iowa State chose to go all black against Oregon
  10. Not sure if it’s been talked about, but Indiana covered up the B1G logo on their jersey and helmet. Some people think it’s due to the conference bending the rules to allow 5-win Ohio State into the conference championship. However, Indiana’s HC said it was for different reasons. Which I believe to be a bunch of horse. The original rule to be eligible for the B1G Championship was a team must play at least 6 regular season games. Ohio State played 5. Teams that DID reach the threshold were- Literally every team in the B1G except Ohio State & Maryland.
  11. After further consideration, Cincinnati-Georgia actually looks really good. Both uniforms definitely standout from one another and compliment each other at the same time.
  12. Sure each team individually looks great, but put them together and it’s just an overload of the same color scheme (obviously there’s limitations).
  13. The Peach Bowl is gonna be a red & black scrimmage-ish nightmare Cincinnati- Black/Red/Red Georgia- Red/Black/White
  14. The Panthers Official Twitter account tweeted out a photo of this hat a week or so ago- I don’t know why, but for some reason I actually really like the logo. The team described it as “limited edition”. Was this a sparingly used logo from early on in the franchise’s existence?
  15. Probably an unpopular opinion, but Maryland’s throwback is arguably the best uniform in college football
  16. Oklahoma State keeps winning on the script logo helmet front-
  17. It wouldn’t have made sense to drop Rocket City before they’ve even played an actual game.
  18. I wonder if now because the Frederick Keys aren’t affiliated with Baltimore anymore, they’ll drop the orange and black color scheme and have a much needed logo face lift
  19. Background ads have been more and more intrusive the past few days
  20. Sad how yet another team can do the Pittsburgh Steelers better than the Steelers themselves.
  21. I gotta be the only member of these boards to not like that logo at all. The shield is way better
  22. To me, it’s works in the same way Washington does burgundy over white and how Chicago does blue over white
  23. Is what it is. It’s a problem that’s been brought up numerous times by multiple different members. A solution doesn’t seem to be in the picture either. If anything, it’s getting worse.
