  1. Another domino in the CBS brand refresh- Showtime and Paramount+ are merging to create… drum roll Paramount+ with Showtime
  2. Too Early To Tell- Is Brock Purdy the most relevant Mr. Irrelevant?
  3. Makes me wish the replacement refs made a comeback I want real and honest mistakes during games
  4. I still don’t think the 49ers :censored:ed up as badly as they did yesterday with penalties. Especially 4 on one drive that led to a Philly TD. The SF-PHI game had the same refs that officiated WAS-NYG earlier this season when no holding was called against NY and an illegal formation was called against WR Terry McLaurin even though he checked with the line judge to make sure he was okay
  5. Rumor has it that Ron Rivera is looking to retire after the 2023-24 season and is prolonging the OC search because he wants to find his heir apparent. Chiefs OC Eric Bieniemy is his top choice. Good Luck.
  6. I gotta admit, no one was really hyping up the Chiefs this season as much as the Bills, Bengals, Eagles, 49ers, and even the Cowboys(). Kansas City was arguably a relatively quiet good team. Pulling for the lesser of two evils. Go Chiefs.
  7. The NFL is defined as an entertainment entity so legally they can fix games to get the best outcomes that they want
  8. General Question- Do Kansas City fans have the ability to form a coherent thought unlike most* Philadelphia fans? *- not all Philly sports fans are rabid idiots
  9. QB injury aside, there’s no way SF is :censored:ing up this much with all these penalties
  10. The new stadium jersey and the old one from a few seasons ago make a good start to a new set-
  11. I was originally going to say that. Glad I’m not the only one who thinks it.
  12. Josh Allen is Top 3 in AFC QBs. He had a down year and all of the sudden “he sucks” and is “over the hill” despite leading his team to 4 straight playoff appearances and is only 26. Yeah, get the hell outta here with that phony ass bologna.
  13. This Josh Allen discourse is reminiscent of the “Joe Flacco is/isn’t elite” debate
  14. This is still my favorite non-RWB Texans concept I’ve seen on these boards (can’t remember who did it, but please if you do, let me know)
  15. I’m having second hand embarrassment from this post. Yikes.
  16. Granted most of New England coaches left amicably on their own terms for other jobs, you’d think a team wouldn’t want any of them back.
  17. I wouldn’t mind if they kept it to just “H” as a chest badge and no wordmark.
  18. The photos of the hats should be taken with a grain of salt. However, we the CCSLCers like to over analyze things. The navy blue hat with white “H”- I actually like this. It’s nice, simple, and to the point. However, they’re already a blue and white team with a simple uniform in the AFC South. The “luv ya” blue, red, and white “H” hat- It’s the color scheme Houston fans have been clamoring for for the better part of two decades (Holy moly, the Texans are 20). Problem? The Titans have a strangle hold on the color scheme and Oilers moniker. There could have been a deal made behind the scenes. Titans go navy heavy, Houston gets the “luv ya” blue as a permanent primary fixture. There is also a rumor that Tennessee is debuting their Oilers throwbacks against Houston. So maybe the navy-for-luv ya deal ain’t happening and the Titans told Houston and their fans to shove it where the sun don’t shine. Verdict- Houston is messing with us and those are just fashion hats with zero real meaning outside of fan and media appreciation.
  19. I’d rather the Bengals wear black pants and orange socks with their white jersey or y’know, one pair of white pants with orange and black stripes
  20. This is the type of :censored: that makes me wish the Wizards or Capitals stuck with black-blue-gold.
  21. Houston leaning into the “H-Town” is worrisome.
  22. I’d rather the Texans move in-line with the Rockets and Astros branding. Go to a space themed set. They can still keep the logo as well.
  23. I agree with expanding rosters, but the question becomes— How much bigger of a roster? The current rule is 53 w/ two eligible practice squad members elevated on a weekly basis. So, current at 55. Should half the practice squad be elevated on a weekly basis? The entire practice squad? Increase the standard roster by say, 10?
