  1. No, bulls horns typically point forward (charging)
  2. They did, but the media guide seems to show a filtered white uniform
  3. I was just telling a group chat I am in that this year is wild, I can't keep track.
  4. I do recall some Majestic player tees having the textured numbers as well, maybe around the 2013-2014 timeframe.
  5. Interesting nugget I came across recently. This is a relatively new style of hat. Fansedge/Fanatics has every team shows but one, which is Houston. In a sponsored ad, I happen to come across the Houston version and it's red centric. Texans hat Fansedge Gallery of the hat model Might be nothing, but could be hinting at that red-forward identity coming soon. Could also be nothing since the Jets hat uses the assumed old logo.
  6. Its very likely. The Patriots wordmark change from the cursive one to the block one on the jersey in 2015-2019 before the current unis released in 2020.
  7. It's actually reminiscent of an infrequently used Jaguars alternate logo from 1999-2012.
  8. Ah yeah, thats right. Yankees and Detroit have navy jerseys this spring that wont be worn in the regular season, so I guess I'm surprised the Phils didnt keep the red around for that reason.
  9. I've noticed that the Phillies have been wearing their home whites and road grays a lot more than usual this spring.
  10. Locking the 2023 thread, 2024 thread is linked below.
  11. Yeah, they really need to use that "market" term correctly. Orlando's market population should be 2mil+. Jacksonville is at least 1.5mil. Atlanta was clearly ignored. They must've used Duluth, GA as the city "market"
  12. Yes the rules are a bit restrictive, but straight from the Bruins site... "Exceptions will be made for diaper bags, breast pump bags, bags needed for medical purposes"
  13. It looks like 1993 was the last time the NFL had two bye weeks (16 games over 18 weeks). There were 28 teams (pre Jacksonville, Carolina, new Cleveland, and new Houston). I havent seen a set list of who had bye weeks.
  14. I don't think its been confirmed, but why would they jam all teams two bye weeks into the current 9 week period (currently weeks 5-14, week 8 had no bye weeks in 2023)? I could see them making the bye week period a little longer, maybe even having two "sections" so bye weeks aren't too close and each team has one in the first part and one in the second part. Maybe even a rule stating the two bye weeks could be no less than "x" weeks apart. I'm no lawyer, but I would have to think that the broadcast contracts have clauses built in about adding more games to the schedule as a cause for renegotiation or specific stipulations. The league added an extra game 2 years ago without major hiccups.
  15. A normal by week in 2023 had between 2 and 6 teams off in 2023 between weeks 5 and 14 (4 weeks had 4 teams, 2 weeks had 2 and 2 weeks had 6). This means at worst a week had no fewer than 13 games played. You'd also be adding 16 additional "betting events" for gambling partners with an extra week.
  16. There's no way the league will allow a 2 week pause for the entire league, if anything for the media partners. 2 bye weeks is definitely possible, but not that the same time or consecutively.
  17. Based on current and future teams, to match the NHL and AHL the ECHL has room for 2 more expansion teams. This would be a good add to the league for sure.
  18. Well they also modified the angle of the wordmark lower (for the better). There's still room for the number, but if losing the number meant a properly aligned wordmark I'll take it.
  19. So it CAN be done. I suspect we may see the larger name fonts back sooner rather than later.
  20. If you use the direct image URL from those sites, you should be able to post the images here. If it's a personal Google drive, you'll have to host them publicly somewhere to obtain a direct image URL. The forums do not host photos and any images need to come from elsewhere.
  21. Ok so I'm trying to figure this one out. I thought all name-on-back font got smaller? If so then explain why the Royals don't seem to have this problem. I first thought "old stock", but that MLB batterman is lower.
  22. Are you talking about these? If so, this isn't new. These have been like this for a few years now.
  23. Because its probably going to play up the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry. Makes me wonder if they'll somehow design the jerseys to reflect the college teams.
  24. Heck, their first design on the market was the Clearwater Threshers (they were still Plan B Branding at the time). An identity that still stands strong 20 years later.
  25. Seriously, that theory is ridiculous at best. It's already been said the three stripes on the sleeves paired with the three stripes on the socks reflect against the victory stripes from the original jerseys.
