The whole name is a mouthful, but the logo package is pretty good. I really dig the H.

It's close to certain that we'll never see Mahomes against Rodgers. Funny how things keep happening to prevent that matchup.

I haven't done this before, so I'll give it a try this time around.

Just adding that I don't even think they thought they had a shot at the postseason, which makes them buying at the trade deadline and now losing their
onlytwo best players, even more astounding. They are the AL Mets. -
The Bear head looks like an ineligible blob of mesh and should stay as a secondary. Chicago has used the wishbone C for such a significant period of time where it should be untouchable at this point. Dumb, dumb.

As much as I want to say they are an upgrade from the previous set, I'm still convinced that the Suns will never find something that is better than the 90's sunburst.
Also, given their history, I give them less than a decade before they come up with new uniforms again.

It felt like roughly a decade ago, the Big 12 was the power conference with the murky future. How that has changed.

It's rather funny because it's the Yankees, though it's also depressing because it's the Yankees.
A reminder that nobody is safe.

Pat Fitzgerald was fired from Northwestern. I guess the hazing allegations weren't made up.

Competitive eating in general is rather gross, but when it comes to Chestnut and the sport league itself, I find it all uninteresting and predictable.

Is Spire City really that prominently used within the Frederick area or is Brandoise just reaching for creativity again? I'm asking because I currently live about an hour away from there and have even visited the area on several occasions. Of all of these times, I have never seen a reference to the name.

The NBA has historicall had primary logos that incorporate the name, mascot, and the basketball all in one. There has been a trend to shift away from this, first with a series of roundel logos (which still fit in to an extent) and now to logos where an icon is separate from the script.
To me it feels weird. It makes sense from a modern marketing perspective but look at the blue chip franchises: Lakers, Celtics, Knicks. They all follow the traditional formula and are likely never going to change. So it seems like a waste to make this shift, especially knowing that many of these franchises will be rebranding a few years down the road again anyway.
I was just going to point this out. Several of the secondary logos have been promoted to primary status (Washington, Denver, etc.) and many will just have their "Global" logos as either the primary mark with a script underneath them (Portland) or just fit them into a roundel (again... Washington, Denver). At the end of the day, the primary mark is used more in media and merchandise.
I feel like the logo balance/consistency is worse in MLB, where some clubs have pretty detailed primary logos (Yankees, Dodgers, Giants), but then you have some that just simply use their cap logos (Pirates, Tigers, Padres). This in particular has always bothered me because when you put them all together, it looks off. Granted, you see the cap logos used more in capacity, so I guess you could argue they are the true primary marks.

Every time the Angels do something amazing (like this or if Ohtani has a masterful game), it is always followed by "in loss to BLANK" or " despite losing BLANK."
Winning record be damned, they still waste performances like no other.
-
That's wild. I knew the lines were for depicting motion, but I didn't know they were initially from water.
I simply thought of the Lakers' logo as just another generic basketball logo, but now I have a little more appreciation for it.

I assumed it was Maryland for a good second, based on the template and "Tops" helmet logo.
I guess chrome is still used by teams; I thought that would've been phased out by now.

I'm not even from Pittsburgh and I knew about the significance of PGH.
The City Connects look fine, but that patch is rather lame (their logo in a black circle...?). They could've came up with something new with an element tied to the city area, even if they already did that subliminally in the rest of the uniform.

They could use outlines, but I am beyond happy that they fixed the shoulder numbers; I hated how they bled off the arm stripes.
It feels like the color balance is a little better on these as well (not too much white, more black).

The Suns are still too top-heavy. I could be eating my own words this time next year, but I think this is going to blow up in their faces. It will all be a waste.

It's solid, though based on what it's replacing, it was gonna be an improvement either way.
What exactly is the symbolism on the second finalist?

Please do elaborate how the NHL rigged it for Vegas.
Did I say rigged?
I based my comment on the notion that the league (or Bettman) wants hockey in the Sunbelt to succeed. We were getting a champion from that region either way, and I even initially stated my support for both teams.

I knew after they lost the 2018 Final, the Knights would still get one at some point. It's what the league wanted anyway.

I'm a little disappointed that Miami had to a lose a Finals series again, but as a franchise, they've had their run of success.
Denver absolutely deserved this one, first title and all. It was fitting.

Florida's seeding is starting to show. I figured at some point reality was going to sink in.
Also, the Golden Knights are scoring like 4-5 goals a game. I don't even think a hot goalie could stave off that much of an offensive barrage.

So these are just a one-time thing, both uniforms and logo? Sorry if it's been brought up before; I've just never seen a team unveil a whole new package, only for it to be used in just a single season.
