So I did something out of my ordinary: I bought the O's postseason shirts at the Team Store today. Normally, I prefer to hold out on buying playoff gear *unless* the team of interest wins a title. But it's gotta be the 2023 postseason script font, having attended both games where the team got to put the "Take October" and division champs shirts, and moving away from Baltimore for a new job elsewhere that pushed me into this decision. The only doubt I had was whether or not it'd be worth wearing it out down the road if it ended anywhere short of the AL pennant/making the WS, especially now since the season ended in an ALDS sweep by Texas, and maybe wearing either shirt could be the same case as, for instance, a Falcons fan wearing 2016 NFC Champions gear knowing very well how Super Bowl LI ended. I guess I missed the SL forum poll on wearing those playoff/postseason shirts...but here's to the hope these shirts last me a good while!
