I dig. I'm surprised it's not black, TBH. Which means next year's City Jersey will probably be a black version of this. My biggest gripe is the number. It feels more out of place than the Nets' statement jerseys.

i don’t think they can ever use it again though based off the NBA’s rule of going back to retired jerseys.

I wouldn’t say that’s necessarily a rule in today’s NBA when there’s money to be had. But, I agree with the sediment.

Really hope the ‘earned’ version of this jersey is blue and yellow and not white cause this jersey is legit dope. They could make this a primary later on

There aren’t earned jerseys for this season.

The black jerseys are beautiful and should be a regular in their rotation.

I think this is my issue with it. Why not keep THAT jersey in the rotation why cycle through 3-4 differing colorings of the same template?

If Nike and the NBA are insistent on a rotating cycle of jerseys they need to slow it down a bit. Icon and Association should have a minimum and optional cycle of 5 years, Statement jerseys a minimum of 3 years with an opt in to keep the design (there's no need to change just to change) and City Jerseys should be a minimum of 2 years.

The current cycle of Statement jerseys changing every two and city every season is too much. It was KINDA fun at first ... but, why change something that works so quickly?

Do you guys want more 2019/20 City set colours?

Not questioning your sources, etc. But, I don't think your sources would be wanting to sharing even the base colors of team information. I mean ... do you see @Conrad. doing this?

They need to bring these back. These were gold!

For as popular as these were I've been really surprised that they haven't returned either as is ... or in red or blue.

Does the blue stripe look kinda random or is it just me?

It is supposed to represent Lake Michigan ... but, yeah ... not so much random and forced. There really is no need for blue.

3 years in and the idea bin is already empty.  Be prepared for a lot more of this from all teams...different colors of already existing sets and/or logo slapped on chest.

We're seeing it in Miami already with their vice jerseys.

Did I see this right? Unless the bulls city jerseys are white, they will NOT wear their white association jerseys at home at all this year

    What an absolute travesty.

They'll wear the white associations 20 times on the road and they'll wear their city's on the road zero times.

This is acceptable? I'd say this is quickly turning into the NFL.

I just wish they did what they do with soccer and have the jersey colors on the score bug. I spent a good amount of time trying to figure out who was who with the pacers and Kings the other day. I didn't realize the king's had a Spurs set. The pacers were in a plain Jane white set. And shoe/accessory color was of no help.

The Bulls made their red jersey their preferred home jersey in 2017 ... much like Houston and Brooklyn have. I don’t mind color at home for most teams ... but, the Bulls should be in white IMO.

I believe the City uniforms are light blue or navy..something incorporating the City flag again. Hold your breath til November. Or until Conrad corrects us.

I wish Reinsdorf wasn’t such a tightwad and make a corresponding Chicago City Flag theme court. I’ve hated watching the Bulls play in the City jerseys on the regular court.

(SIDE NOTE: imagine saying that last paragraph 5 years ago)

It would've been nice to keep experimenting with the flag colors.

Not for the Statement Jersey ... I’m sure we’ll see a Chicago City Flag design for the City Jersey.

But everything we've heard suggests that many teams are keeping their Statement jerseys for at least a 3rd year this coming season, so that much is still TBD.

It'll be interesting to see if the rotation on statement jerseys changes from it's intended cycle of two years. I think every 3-4 years would be perfect.

Anybody else feeling the mandela effect here? could’ve sworn these had stars before and after the B and N

No, I remembered the script, but I thought it had a pitch black base. The lighting is definitely making it look darker, but I can see now that it's gray.

Is there a reason that Nike doesn't add borders to the team name wordmark to match the numbers?

So they can add the border the following year to pass it off as a new uniform?

  16. I don't know ... I think the number font is fine. It ties it in with the Nets identity and restrains the design a bit whereas graffiti font and numbers would muddle it a bit?

I just wish there was black outline around the number to match the one around the wordmark.
