Contender for the single ugliest game in football history.

I actually would say that’s the best Oregon looked out of all the uniforms in those pictures. I actually liked the wing pattern on the shoulder and I liked the green over green and yellow. It definitely needs some tweaks but I’d take that any day over what they currently wear.

Oregon state on the other hand though

Obviously in the minority with this, but IMO Oregon looks like crap. They are just so far off with their unis. Brutally ugly.

Miss State vs. Georgia looks good. Darn good.

I think they've gotten the shade of green right, it's a nice shade that pops really good. But I agree that they're current uniforms are pretty rough. I think they have so much wasted potential with their current set.

  3. I think these are the best versions of each of these designs you've done, great work! I love the updated Mariners logo and I might have to steal that nautical flag pattern idea for a concept of my own, but I think the uniforms need one or two tweaks. Mostly it's just the striping on the blue uniform. I think switching the placement of the white and teal on the over the shoulder stripes and helmet stripes would balance the color a bit better. I think applying the same idea to the white uniform would work well too, switching the shoulder stripes to the same pattern on the pants would work well.

Over all though these are just nitpicks. It's a good look either way

This may be the Rams best current look, and is at least on par with B/B/Y

I actually prefer it over yellow pants, I think the yellow pants look too neon and make the already bright blue even brighter. This makes the blue more palatable.

Then again it's still an F.

The other issue is that Golden State is a stupid name and very unfitting for a state where the most popular NBA team plays. I'm pretty firmly against regional nicknames as identifiers for anybody, forget a collegiate-sounding wannabe traveling team that already has historical precedent for the dignified "San Francisco Warriors".

I hate regional nicknames and vague titles and all of that, but even if you don't, San Francisco Warriors sounds so much better than Golden State Warriors.

I'm glad to hear your thoughts. Right now, for Milwaukee, I'm leaning towards the germanic theme with a black, blue, and cream color scheme. As for a name, I like the Barons suggestion but I feel like I could do better. For Louisville, I'm not quite as sure, but I like both the bourbon and derby influences. I'm leaning towards navy and a shimmery mustard gold for them, perhaps I'll throw in some reddish brown to further emphasize the bourbon themes. I like the suggestions of Thunder, Stallions, and Coopers, but I might throw in Brewers or Racers if I want something different. Thanks for the help everyone, it's great to know that people here have such good ideas and constructive thoughts.

Thought I'd make one more comment. As much as I love the Brewers name, you don't brew Bourbon, you distill it. If you want to go that route though I've always been interested in the Louisville Bourbons name. That names been used before in the 1934 AFL league. They would rebrand to the Tanks like a year after being founded though, but the name I think is pretty neat.

  7. I do like both of the suggestions made so far for Louisville, I’ve seen them both used in fictional leagues before too. Outside of the more generic Colts Racers or Stallions you could try something like Pioneers, Explorers or Foresters. Daniel Boone has a big impact on a lot of Kentucky, and has his own national park. Kentucky being the 14th state also has a lot of historical sites from the first pioneers who explored west. I've been to countless forts and trails centered around those ideas. A bit more whimsical of an idea could also be Mammoths. Inspired directly from Mammoth Cave.

When will teams learn that painted endzones will always look better than unpainted ones? There's no reason for the Chargers to use unpainted ones, especially when they started the year with painted ones and it looked gorgeous.

The reason it was unpainted think was because the Rams had a home game that week as well, on Monday night. I think they're next home game will return to colored end zones.
