By default the Chaos will be my team, but I feel no connection to the name or branding package. It needs some blue to feel like a real Charlotte team. I would've rather had the Hounds brand back, but I understand why they kept most of the old cityless names. The Carolina + scorpion tail logo feels squished horizontally. Not a fan of using Maryland over Baltimore, either. Philly, Cali, and Utah are excellent though, no complaints there.

MOST? We were watching the same games right? The only teams that knocked it out the park that year with their City Jerseys were the Pelicans, Grizzlies, Jazz, Suns and Thunder.
You look me in the eyes and tell me that this jersey was good. It's only saved from the absolute bottom because of Miami's serial killer set.

The Japan design is unique and I think would fit an up-and-coming hockey nation like Japan. That said, the yatagarasu is a crow that specifically has three legs - you've removed one to add the hockey stick. I don't mind the hockey stick but the crow needs three legs to be a yatagarasu and therefore relevant to the content. Enjoying the rest, can't wait to see you finish!

Every single 24 scheme would be dramatically improved if they would go back to using the proper gold numbers on every car. Keeping the number color that iconic gold would help the car look a lot more like the iconic cars Jeff Gordon ran that made the number famous. The Pods scheme isn't too bad but the Z and Relay schemes are embarrassing.

Charlotte - another Team Nickname inspired "Buzz City" with nod to Charlotte Coliseum (18/19/20 sets did).
Where are you getting that? As far as I remember, the 17-18 jerseys just had the criss-crossing gradient stripes, meant to emulate a hornet's wings, the 18-19 jerseys were the "City of Flight" set, and the 19-20 jerseys were the awful gray set with a honeycomb pattern down the side. No Charlotte Coliseum references as far as I'm aware.

Took me a second to get it, but it's solid. Sets itself apart a little better than the old.

This is the only one I dislike but that has more to do with my distaste for the Avs using black gear than not liking colored helmets. Slate blue would look pretty good, in my opinion.

The Canes' red helmet on the road looks great. It's excellent color blocking, pairing very nicely with the red shorts. I hope more teams start wearing colored helmets on the road. More color is a good thing!

Count me among those that wants creamsicles full-time for the Bucs. Vibrant colors, gorgeous shades, much better than the dull red and gray mess they've worn since. The cannonball looks (both Super Bowl sets) suffer from major dullness syndrome. The pewter pants are dull, the pewter helmets are dull, the dark red is dull, the black socks are dull. Vibrancy is in - capitalize on that.

Has there ever been an NBA logo with *two* basketballs?
Yep, the old Wizards logo:

So glad to see you back! I've loved watching your progress and I can't wait to see you finish this series out.
NAFA: I love the bones of the new logo, but the white-to-gray gradient isn't doing it for me. I think it looks a lot bolder without the gradient.
LA: Oh, this is beautiful. I love the gradient here, especially its use as a shortened block gradient on the helmet an white pants. My only minor complaint is that the orange and teal clash a little but it's really not that big of a deal.
SA: Hmm. I think I agree with you where the logos are great but the uniforms and color scheme isn't quite right for me. The white jersey's yoke is super dark with the green and black. Maybe getting rid of black is the way to go? I like the new secondary logo but I'm not huge on including the year and I think the star isn't quite centered in its little pocket.
MIN: The cream is a really warm shade here and I'm not quite feeling it on the green jersey - maybe make the numbers white to emulate the white jersey? Other than that it's a great set. I love the sublimated plaid.
PHI: Very classic feel here and I love it. Nothing much to say here, a great look.
WPG: Huuuuuuge fan of the powder blue here. It's such a unique shade and it's used really well here.
QUE: The Lumieres remain my favorite set of yours. The aurora stripe is sick and I agree, I love how the secondary color changes depending on the angle of the jersey. 11/10, no notes.
JAX: I like the purple and lavender, but the gray isn't working for me. It kinda dulls down the set and I think it would look better if it was a pure white anyway. Still really nice-looking, the double purple is great.
Keep it up! I can't wait to see the league at the end of this project.

Not sure if this is a truly unpopular opinion, but I don't like any option of red, Irish Rainbow, purple, blue, whatever. Green and cream for the Bucks. That's it.

I love the Cardinals-style Orioles! Such a classic baseball design that translates pretty spectacularly to the O's. I think the birds get a little lost on the orange set (the real-life Cardinals put a stroke around all that on their red jersey, maybe something like that is justified here?) and as a matter of speculation - the STL Cards place a lot of emphasis on their STL monogram. Maybe this hypothetical Orioles franchise, instead of an O's mark, uses a B cap logo instead? (I'm really only saying this because I, as an O's fan, hate the O's logo and wish they'd replace it with the script B.) Funnily enough, the number font, which I remember not particularly liking from your MLB redesigns, works really well here. Must be something about the style of the script. Nice work!

Still nope, sorry
If they really wanted that 7 they should've done all they could to acquire it, or settled with like 77 or 70 or just about anything else
What's funny is they probably wanted 7, but it belonged to Robby Gordon at the time, who was sponsored by Jim Bean. There was no way to acquire then, given it was sponsored by a Jack Daniels competitor. I do agree that they should've gone for 70 or 77, as while 77 was being run (part-time at this point I think) by Penske, 70 was open.

Is it just me or is the blue from last season closer to the reebok electric blue? Wasn't the goal to do the opposite?
No, the goal was to get it closer to the team's official shade of blue, Panthers Blue (or Process Blue), that Nike was unable to properly recreate when the NFL made the switch in the early 2010s, whenever it was. Presumably Reebok had been able to properly produce Panthers blue so the new blue jerseys look more like the pre-Nike set.

I get it in weekly short track or dirt track scenes, but in NASCAR, things are structured enough to ensure that teams won't need a 0#. With 0-99 available, there's no need for those extra 10.

Oh wow, I love the Marlins-style seafoam and black set! It looks really nice and I can imagine their alternate teal jersey would be stellar. This new set isn't doing it as much for me, as the contrast between the green and seafoam and orange and seafoam isn't enough for me. The numbers in particular stick out poorly on a flat template like this, they may look better in real life. The scripts are really nice, I've always loved that old Tides script.

I love the Tides! I do have to wonder how the set would look with a seafoam-ish teal instead of green. I like the orange in the set, but if I remember correctly, it was added because the team is an affiliate of the O's - what would it look like without?

Just from some admittedly quick and careless googling and looking at maps, OKC stands out as not being on any particularly-significant body of water. Phoenix has (I think) the Salt River, but isn't particularly close to the Colorado. Could be off.

Just because, I've checked every Big 5 city.
Boston - Atlantic Ocean
New York - Atlantic Ocean
Buffalo: Lake Erie and Niagara River
Newark - Passaic River
Philadelphia - Delaware River
Baltimore - Chesapeake Bay
Washington - Potomac River
Pittsburgh - Alleghany, Monongaheia, and Ohio Rivers
Raleigh - None (closest is Neuse River)
Charlotte - None (closest is Catawba River)
Atlanta - None (closest is Chattahoochee River)
Jacksonville - St Johns River
Miami - Atlantic Ocean
Orlando - about a billion lakes
Tampa - Tampa Bay
Detroit - Detroit River
Cleveland - Lake Erie
Columbus - Scioto River
Cincinnati - Ohio River
Indianapolis - White River
Nashville - Cumberland River
Memphis - Mississippi River
New Orleans - Mississippi River and Lake Pontchartrain
Chicago - Lake Michigan
Milwaukee - Lake Michigan
Minneapolis & St. Paul - Mississippi River
St. Louis - Mississippi River
Kansas City - Missouri River
Oklahoma City - Oklahoma River
Dallas - Trinity River
Houston - Buffalo Bayou and Trinity Bay
Austin - Lady Bird Lake and Colorado River (different from the Grand Canyon's Colorado River)
San Antonio - San Antonio River
Denver - South Platte River
Salt Lake City - None (Closest is Jordan River and of course the Great Salt Lake)
Phoenix - Salt River
Las Vegas - None (Closest is Colorado River and Lake Mead)
San Diego - Pacific Ocean
Anaheim - Santa Ana River
Los Angeles - Los Angeles River and Pacific Ocean
San Francisco - San Francisco Bay and Pacific Ocean
Oakland - San Francisco Bay
San Jose - Guadalupe River and San Francisco Bay
Sacramento - American and Sacramento Rivers
Portland - Willamette and Columbia Rivers
Seattle - Puget Sound
Montreal - St. Lawrence River
Ottawa - Ottawa River
Toronto - Lake Ontario and Don River
Winnipeg - Assiniboine and Red Rivers (but not Lake Winnipeg, strangely)
Edmonton - North Saskatchewan River
Calgary - Elbow and Bow Rivers
Vancouver - Fraser River and Strait of Georgia
Only five I judged to be far enough away from bodies of water so as to not really be "on" one. Every one of those has bodies of water close enough to them to justify including them as a part of the city's culture if you really want to.

Two white helmet games and only one orange game is such a shame. Their best uniform and they're only wearing it once.

The real problem with the Bengals is that they made their default white uniform the "white tiger" look. Now, I don't like the look no matter what, but they should've made the road uniform include every color, then have an all-white look as an alternate. A remnant of unfortunate timing as the Bengals redid their set right before alternate helmets became a forgone conclusion. I'm not sure if they had done it now they would've made the road uniform just black and white.

I am curious as well. Also, red, white, blue, gray, and powder blue doesn’t add up to 4+1CC. Am I missing something?
I'm pretty sure the 4+1 rule is for uniforms that get the full merchandise treatment, with authentic retails, and shirts, and whatnot. Anything extra like the Canada Day jerseys can still be worn, they just won't get the full retail treatment.

It's funny you say this because it actually does the opposite for me. I recognize I'm probably in the minority on this, but I feel no particular identification with the region of "Carolina". I do feel slightly more strongly for the state of North Carolina, but I feel very strongly for the city of Charlotte. I know I'm not really the target demo, but home markets do draw me in, especially if Charlotte has a team. I don't care for the "legacy" of the Chaos LC brand, I'd rather have a Charlotte-specific team. The NLL has the PLL beat on this one, at least, to me.
